I just came away from a girl's weekend staying at the Steel Magnolia House Bed & Breakfast. It was the most relaxing stay I have had in a while. Everything & everyone was so welcoming. Th3 ladies there are so special. It was like coming home. The rooms were so clean & comfy. The gardens were beautiful & the food was delish. Grandma couldn't have prepared a better Southern home cooked breakfast! Don't forget to ask for their specialty jams & grab you a T-shirt before you leave. You will, I will definitely be back!

This is a must stay B&B. The decor is fantastic. Staff was very accommodating.
Room was beautiful and a fantastic bed.

Came here for our anniversary as I’m a huge fan of the movie. It did not disappoint. Great rates and Bridgette and Mama Rose were amazing. They definitely gave us tips and advice on where to go and what to do. A must-see for fans. Thanks! We will for sure be back.

Steel Magnolias has been one of our all-time favorite movies. What a treat it was to be able to stay in the home the movie was filmed in. It was so beautiful and well kept up. We were greeted upon arrival by the sweetest ladies and given a tour of the home. We stayed in "Jackson's " room. It was nicely decorated, and every amenity you could think of was available. The mattress was very comfortable. Visiting on the front porch swing was our favorite thing. We were able to order dinner in, curl up on the couch, and watch the Steel Magnolias movie. So much fun to be had at this house and in Natchitoches. The house is within walking distance to Front Street. We had a wonderful breakfast and was able to get more background of the house with the owner of the home, Mr. Dan. I would highly recommend visiting. We plan to come back.

The location is amazing and staying in such an epic house was great. Watching the movie in the den was iconic.

However, the rooms are lacking. If you pay boutique prices you expect boutique quality. No toilet paper or Kleenex in room, cheap/flat pillows and no pillowcases for extra pillows, just a lot of “little things” that took from the experience.
The pool in back yard is a mosquito breeding ground…brown and sludgy.
Also, they needed an exterminator in home.

We had a great stay for our 1 year anniversary. The staff was wonderful and the house and rooms were very clean and quiet. We will be back and I highly recommend it!

My husband surprised me with a stay at the Steel Magnolia's house for the weekend (Friday 9/9/22 and Saturday 9/10/22) We enjoyed it so much! Bridget warmly greeted us, (even after we arrived later than expected) gave us a tour of the house, and helped us get settled in. The breakfast made by the sweetest lady ever, Mama Rose, was some of the best cooking we have ever had. Service by Olla was also amazing! As a life-long fan of this movie, I was tickled pink (no pun intended) and cannot wait to stay again!

Steel Magnolias is my favorite movie and this place has been on my bucket list forever…it did not disappoint!! From the moment you walk into the house you’re transported back into the movie! The rooms are spacious and accommodate everything you would need. Mama Rose and Bridget are wonderful and the breakfast every morning was delicious. They were so welcoming and helped us with anything we needed. I also highly recommend taking the self guided movie tour the next day to visit all the sites/houses where the scenes were taped. This place exceeded all my expectations and I hope to return around the holidays to experience the Christmas festival! Excellent experience!!????❤️

If you love the movie, you cannot help but love staying here. This was a last minute decision for me and my husband, SO worth it. If you aren’t a fan of the movie, then you definitely need to go for Mama Rose’s meat pies… they are like no other in Natchitoches!!! ????????
