The room did not appear to be cleaned as there was trash and feces on the restroom floor. The refrigerator was not working, there was no hot water, and one of the queen beds did not have a comforter only a sheet. When asked if they had a comforter for it, the receptionist said that they did not have any.

I was sadly surprised by the condition of the hotel, floors were stained, it smelled. The bed was good the traffic noise level was not. Hot breakfast was aweful, luke warm at best, one bite of sausage and biscuit, trash can. Only chose it over motel 6 or super 8 because of interior entry safety. Turns out, same quality, Motel 6 $58, Wyndham $110.
Wyndham, you can do better.

Horrible stay. Room was dirty hotel has not been updated ever and it smelled like cigarette smoke. I highly recommend not staying here.

My daughter’s volleyball team stayed there during a tournament in March 24.
I must truly give an honest review…. The hotel was SUBPAR by almost any humane standards. However, what it lacked in cleanliness and hygiene, it more than made up for with uniqueness. For example: the parents got to sit around lobby and bond by drinking and reading the gawd-awful reviews (which are 10000% accurate btw). The blood stained carpet and semen stained curtains (room 318) were enough grossness to get the parent talking and bonding about the various issues that could have made said scenarios.

The fact that the shower would not drain until you were done, the bugs, various bodily fluids, broken furniture, horrible breakfast, the pubic hair everywhere (go read the reviews people), too much pool chlorine, small beds and horrible pillows did not deter us from making the most of it! In fact I must THANK the hotel because my wife appreciated our pillows and cleanliness when we got home. If you ignore the fact that people would rather shower in the pool area shower rather than their room, the hotel was a solid 1.5/5 stars. The front desk clerk was so hospitable that he allowed one of our parents to go distribute towels, so a guest could put them all over their floor to avoid stepping on the unclaimed pubic hair.

Disgusting room, cold food and nothing to drink not even milk at breakfast for cereal. Over priced by at least half. Stains everywhere, slimy water, bed broke down. Stay away

It's really nice and clean. It's also dog friendly and A indoor pool I love it.

I’ve read other reviews. I’m quite picky on where I stay. I have to say, my room was clean, no bugs and no stains. Had an issue with the shower, next day, it was fixed.
A special thank you to ms Kelly. I was starting to think that customer service was a gone. Ms Kelly nailed it! Awesome lady who actually takes time to answer questions and direct you to where you want to go. Can not say enough good about her

The rooms were clean (smelled of bleach actually), and the staff was nice. Location couldn't be better either. It's so close to everything you want to see in West Monroe, but it's really very quiet. I hope they get some help for the maintenance guy though. That poor fella was doing everything from janitorial stuff to putting out the eggs in the continental breakfast.

Hotel outdated for the amount of money paid for the night. Breakfast was horrible. No one keeping the eggs etc filled. Never could get the TV to work.

Positive experience. Would stay here again in the future. Clean room, comfortable bed and good shower.

I always stay at Wyndham hotels and this one was probably one of the worst. I have family nearby so we decided to give wingate a second chance….unfortunately it was worse than before! The pool, gym, tv, and internet were all non existent!

If I could rate this location with a thumbs down - I would! Let me just say, this was by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed! The room was VERY dirty! Musty smells, TV didn’t work, bathroom not cleaned, shower curtain had boogers on it, bath tub would not drain and toilet looked like someone had used it and never got cleaned. Sheets were a bit dirty. Food left in frig by whomever and to top it off, RODENTS!!! Needless to say, I WILL NOT be staying here ever again nor will I refer this place. Don’t waste your time or money here cause it will not be a good experience. You WILL be disappointed.

Absolutely the worst! I called ahead of time to confirm the swimming pool was working and open, I was assured it was and it was open until 10 pm. Once I arrived, unpacked, had dinner and decided to swim, found out the pool had been broken since Friday (the pool is the ONLY reason I booked here, other wise I would have booked at the Hilton Garden they have an indoor heated pool also). Next morning we found the shower curtain had not been changed and it had green boogers and snot on it and the bath tub wasn't draining and i had to hurry and shower as i was standing in 3 inches of water and there was blood on the curtain on the window and the curtain draws. The power outlet to the TV went out and we had to get an extension cord so the TV would work and we could use our Firestick. The breakfast was mediocre, orange juice was the highlight. The only positive thing here is the air worked, no bed bugs or roaches and the young man that was working was VERY nice and apologetic. The manager gave me 10% discount, like that makes up for the pool not working, dirty room and overall rundown building. I was in town for a Dr appointment with a hand specialist that I had to travel 3 hours from home for, I will be booking at Hilton Garden on my return trip in December for my hand surgery!

If I could give it 0, I would. Rooms need lots of work. Stains on carpet. Toilet needed repair. I was traveling thru and just happened to pick this hotel. Big mistake!

Rooms are much bigger than I expected. Overall, it was clean and tidy. I was worried because I read reviews and it said there was a smell in a lot of the rooms but I didn't experience any of that. I also didn't have any issues with billing or any of that staff. Many of the reviews said that people had issues with the owner or manager. Overall, it was a pretty decent experience. I wouldn't say it was the best wingate I've ever stayed at but had no issues and the staff was great at check in and out. Odd they put people with traveling with pets far from the exits and top floor.
