Wir haben ein sehr grosses Zimmer mit Balkon und Terrasse. Die Anlage ist sauber und gepflegt, unser Zimmermädchen Taslim ist ein Goldschatz! Wir haben nur Zimmer mit Frühstück gebucht und essen jeden Abend a la carte in einem der Restaurants. Vor allem das Sushi ???? Restaurant (Danke, Cedric) hat es uns angetan.

Had the privilege to stay here from Sat 21st Oct to Fri 27th Oct 2923. Hôtel is beautiful, great layout. A 10+ for ALL the staff, with a special mention for Seam & his team from the restauration, Preeti from SPA & Wellness, & Rheeaz who looked after our room - always neat & clean. It’s our first time here & the rating we give to you is way above the rating we gave to the many hotels where we stayed in Mauritius over the last 10 years, including a couple of 6 stars hotels. This is really the best hotel I've ever had the privilege to stay at. We were there for 10 days in October and were made to feel so welcome by all the staff we encountered.

The location is excellent in the North West of the island, with easy access to the beaches and the surrounding area as well as the opportunity to view some of the most stunning sunsets in the world with a cocktail in hand.

The rooms are lovely and spacious - perfect for a long holiday, with very comfortable beds, showers, baths and lots of storage space.

The food is excellent in all of the restaurants, and one of our couple is coeliac and the hotel were very good at making us feel comfortable with the allergy, even making specific meals for us on request.

Above all, however, this is the best service I've ever had. The personal touches from all the staff from management to chefs, waiters, concierge staff, and cleaners are world class and make you feel important and looked after. Nothing is too much for the hotel staff and they really ensured we had the best, most relaxing break possible.

I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful relaxing time to recharge in the best settings, with plenty activities available on offer and the most amazing dining and drinking experiences throughout. A real gem.

Courteous & efficient staff. Rooms are enormous, our suite included an outdoor shower. The buffet breakfast & dinner has loads of choices & varieties everyday. The food is incredibly delicious(and is not modified to please certain clientele) highly appreciate that. The beach is a bit rocky that’s the only downside but Mon Choisy beach is 10 mins away. Housekeeping passes twice a day. Kids club offers a vast range of activities which will keep your little ones happy & engaged.
All in all amazing property & wonderful staff.

They have the best staff on board, who went out of their way to make it an unforgettable experience. Beautiful, spacious family bedroom with an exquisite ocean view.

What a truly magnificent and memorable stay at the WestIn! From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were enveloped in luxury and warmth. Our visit was in honor of our Dad’s 70th Birthday, and the WestIn ensured that it was an extraordinary celebration. Nestled on the west side of the island, its proximity to Port Louis, the Botanical Gardens, and the Sugar Museum made it the ideal location. The hotel went above and beyond in organizing a driver and all our desired excursions. The lush grounds were simply breathtaking, and the tree at the entrance was a captivating masterpiece. The restaurants were also brilliant at catering for specific dietary requirements.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to the exceptional staff who made our stay truly remarkable. Seam, your attentiveness ensured we lacked for nothing during our visit. Sameer, thank you for swiftly addressing any room concerns. Rodolpho’s organization of the catamaran for my Dad’s Birthday was a highlight. Steeven, Pascal, and Pradeep, your service by the pool was second to none. Manisha and Ram, your assistance in booking restaurants and your recommendations were invaluable. Cedric’s exceptional service at Fusion left a lasting impression. Yosina, Kajal, and Sameer, our room was always immaculate, and we felt pampered with a surplus of towels. Lastly, special thanks to Rajeev for those artistic cappuccinos each morning – a delightful start to our days.

Leaving was not on our minds, and we eagerly look forward to returning for another stay at this magnificent establishment.

We have had a fabulous stay at the Westin Turtle Bay Resort. The attention to detail has been fantastic from all the staff.

The food was amazing and with the vast array of different cuisines located on site every day was unique. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the live preparation stations.

The resort has many unique complimentary activities such as water activities, yoga and sound healing which we were able to take advantage of on a daily basis. Thank you to Yash/Gooey for taking good care of us at the boat house!

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Anas, Rais, and Rajveer for going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable at all times and were able to make the most of our trip and all that Mauritius has to offer.

Also to Anil who provided excellent room service and made sure our room was always in an immaculate condition. He is an asset to the team.

Lastly thank you to the lovely ladies at the resort spa who looked after us and provided the most relaxing treatments!

We loved every minute here and would highly recommend this resort!! 10/10.

Westin Turtle Bay – Staying with Friends

PROs: In my opinion, there's hardly anything to mention at this level when it comes to the rooms, the resort itself, and such. Everything is as expected or even better. The property is very clean and in harmony with nature and the plant life. Right along the hotel, there's a reef with beautiful black lava rocks jutting out of the sea, and there are several "natural pools." In the bay next to the adjacent hotel, you have a fantastic sandy beach, and within 10 meters in the water, you can find corals and a vibrant underwater world.

There's a "Whisper Pool" where you'll only find adults, and it's really peaceful, and a "Main Pool" where it's livelier but still pleasant. The highlight of the hotel is undoubtedly the food. From the breakfast buffet with a gluten-free corner to the Beach Grill Restaurant and the Indian restaurant, it's all top-notch. The "Fusion" Sushi Restaurant and the "Mystique" Thai Restaurant are truly sensational. I can't remember ever having such high-quality, perfectly prepared food in a hotel. Even in upscale dining in Austria, it's hard to find dishes of this quality, which is available here in "All-Inclusive."
The real asset of this place is unquestionably the staff. I travel a lot and stay in 5-star hotels worldwide, and I haven't come across anything like this. When, after 9 days, you feel like you're leaving friends behind, a lot has been done very, very right.
I'd like to explicitly mention a few people who, in my opinion, go above and beyond in their jobs:
Raja – Mystique Bar – sensational cocktails with that special touch and an incredibly good person who, with his passion for gastronomy and fantastic conversations, turns hours into minutes.
Vimal – also in the Bar/Beach/Restaurants area – keen to share knowledge about the country, very attentive, and always there before you even start looking for him.
Kevin – Mystique Restaurant – great dry humor, always on the move, and displays an enthusiasm that turns regular days into extraordinary ones.
Sarvesh and Cedric, both waiters in the restaurants – incredibly attentive, glasses are refilled as soon as they're empty, always eager to offer more than required, and they work with such joy that you can't help but smile when you see them.
Last but not least: Rozia – our housekeeper – the many amazing towel animals, flowers, and, most importantly, everything was always perfectly clean without us noticing anything – sensational.
I could list many more, but the ones mentioned above truly delivered an exceptional performance and deserve special mention.

It's worth noting that there were two different bands and DJs for daily live performances, and most of the acts were more suited for a big stage than a beachside sundowner. We really enjoyed these nearly-private concerts and even planned our daily schedule around them.

CONs: There are some tiny things that could be improved, such as the "Boat house." There are laser sailboats, but they're essentially for solo use, and your partner has to wait. The pedal boats are great. The staff at the handover are quite enthusiastic, but the staff at the rental itself is somewhat questionable. It surprised not only me that you have to pay cash there rather than with a card or charging it to the room. Also, the fact that you can only get snorkeling equipment for the reef when booking a tour and a few other minor issues are unfortunately not up to 5-star standards. So, it's a good idea to bring your own snorkeling gear or buy it inexpensively in Mauritius. Highly recommended in this beautiful bay. Otherwise, you'll miss out on a fantastic underwater world.
In conclusion, I would generally recommend bringing USD or EURO for a vacation in Mauritius, especially if you plan to go on tours and excursions.

Westin Turtle Bay was a dream to stay in. My husband and I stayed for a week and were blown away by the hospitality and beauty of the hotel. Breakfast was also excellent, with a varied spread each day. Special shout-out to Pamela, Vedhoshree, Toushita & Manisha for their daily service with a smile & impeccable hospitality, and Rais (from concierge) & Rodolpho (for pre-trip liaising). Absolutely unforgettable stay.

Great hotel to stay in. The hotel is very well-maintained and clean. Breakfast in the hotel was delicious and varied. Special mention to Mr Seam and his hospitable staff for making our stay in The Westin very memorable. Highly recommended.

La gentillesse de tout le personnel quel que soit le service, le cadre, l'entretien, l'hygiène et la qualité des infrastructures.
Même avec la plus mauvaise volonté, il est impossible de se plaindre de quoi que ce soit dans cet hôtel. Tout est extraordinaire grace à Seam et toute son équipe fabuleuse, ils travaillent de manière acharné pour nous combler au niveau des 5 restaurants, qui sont tous plus qualitatif les uns que les autres. Le buffet est plus que garni, et très changeant chaque jour. Vous aurez la chance d'y être accueilli par la superbe Yovina.
Également un grand merci à Ram, qui a tout mis en œuvre et de manière ultra réactive, pour que ma demande en mariage soit une réussite.

Tolles Hotel, wahnsinns Service, noch nie so gut gehabt! Tolles Buffet oder gute Restaurants, schöne Pools und kostenloses Wasser für das Zimmer. Strand super, Meerzugang etwas eingeschränkt, da größere Steine da sind.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit im Westin Hotel Mauritius. Insbesondere der Service hat uns begeistert und war auf höchstem Niveau.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Soonita, die uns das Frühstück jeden Morgen mit ihrer herzlichen Art zu einem tollen Erlebnis hat. Sie wusste stets über unsere Wünsche (Cappuccino mit Hafermilch, Säfte und alkoholfreien Sekt), Aktivitäten (Wanderungen, Besichtigungen und Ausflugsziele) und verbleibende Aufenthaltsdauer Bescheid. Wir würden uns freuen, wenn Sie das Lob gesondert an sie weitergeben könnten.

Ebenfalls gilt ein großes Lob an Manuela (Nudelstation im Buffetrestaurant) und Cedric (Fusion Restaurant), die stets über verschiedene Abschnitte unseres Aufenthalts Bescheid wussten und auf individuelle Bedürfnisse eingegangen sind. Insbesondere zu erwähnen war die Zubereitung der Chayote, die Manuela uns auf Nachfrage, welches Gemüse das sei, von der Küche zubereiten ließ.

Auch Ram und Seam haben uns stets persönlich in den Restaurants begrüßt, sich täglich über unseren Aufenthalt erkundigt und fragten uns, ob wir weitere Wünsche hätten.

Das Hotel liegt in einer wunderschönen Bucht, die sehr viel Ruhe mit sich bringt. Es gibt viele Erholungszonen, tolle Aktivitäten und insgesamt eine wundervolle Anlage, die keine Wünsche offen lässt.

Einzig nicht so toller Punkt ist das Wasser. Durch das Riff ist es dort teilweise schwierig zu schwimmen. Das ist für uns aber ein natürlicher Umweltaspekt und wahrscheinlich auch in anderen Hotelanlagen der Fall.

Wir kommen definitiv wieder und freuen uns schon darauf, die leckeren Speisen und den bisher besten Service erneut genießen zu dürfen.

J'y vais en temps que fournisseur , mais je connais bien l établissement . Grands jardins, chambres confortables. Le chef Jacques Ledu s applique a une cuisine soignée . Le personnel au service et a l écoute . De belles plages a proximité dans un endroit calme et reposant

We stayed here for our 30th anniversary it was beautiful the staff were excellent they all remembered ours names and treated us special. Wir blicken auf einen traumhaften Urlaub im Westin auf Mauritius zurück. Vor allem den Service und das Essen möchten wir hervorheben.
Bereits bei der Ankunft wurden wir von unglaublich herzlichen Mitarbeitenden in Empfang genommen. Egal in welchem Bereich der Anlage - überall wurden wir wundervoll umsorgt und beraten. Dies wirkte niemals aufgesetzt oder erzwungen, sondern immer authentisch.
Unser Zimmer war sehr schön, sauber und geräumig mit einem traumhaften Meerblick. Die Lagune lädt zum Schnorcheln ein und das Boat House bietet diverse Aktivitäten, wie Kayak fahren, Glasbodenboot oder eine kleine Schnorcheltour an. Der Concierge-Service war eine große Hilfe bei der Planung unserer Ausflüge bspw. mit der Buchung eines Mietwagens.
Ein großes Dankeschön und liebe Grüße gehen an Stevest und Adarsh, die uns jeden Tag einen wunderbaren Ausklang beschert haben und an Preet für die grandiosen Massagen! Wir kommen gerne wieder ????

pretty disappointing hotel with old rooms considering the price. For example the AC control is so old, even the markings are erased, you dont even know what you are adjusting it to. Especially in our room we killed ~10 mosquitos a day. Left with scratch marks! The staff is great. Also limited sandy beach, mostly rocks. Overall Le Meridien is way better nearby with similar price.

Wir waren begeistert. Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub. Nur die letzten Tage waren wir irgendwie abgemeldet. Es waren viele aus Südafrika da,und haben sich nicht so doll benommen und waren laut und haben sich breit gemacht

Arrivés sur l'île Maurice pour notre voyage de noces nous avons commencé par passer 3 jours au Westin. Nous n'aurions pas où rêver mieux pour débuter ce merveilleux voyage.
L'hôtel est incroyable, le personnel tous plus gentils les uns que les autres. Disponibles et à l'écoute.
L'hôtel dispose de chambres spacieuses, de magnifiques piscines et d'une plage de rêve avec plusieurs bar extérieurs, transats, bed etc...
Nous avons fait 4 hôtels de luxe sur l'île et c'est de loin celui qui emporte la première place dans notre coeur !!!
Le seul hôtel pour nous qui nous a satisfait en tout point de l'accueil au restaurant, à la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel.
Oui un hôtel 5 étoiles ça se paye mais quand le service est aussi bon on hésite pas à y mettre le prix !

Amazing hotel. Beachfront room out of this world. Service truly 5 stars from all staff. Food also amazing.
We were all inclusive package. Note that the sushi and seafood restaurant require additional supplements despite all inclusive. Wasn't particularly expensive given food quality.
Beach is a bit rocky in places (to be expected given volcanic origins).
Overall well worth it for a special occasion.

I had a pleasant stay at The West Inn hotel. The staff was friendly, and the amenities were top-notch. However, the room design left something to be desired; it felt outdated and could use a refresh. Additionally, the cleanliness could have been better; I noticed some dust and stains. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall experience was enjoyable. The hotel's location is fantastic, and the service was commendable. With a little room makeover and improved cleaning, it would easily earn a five-star rating from me.

En un mot exceptionnel, nous sommes venus avec mon copain pour nos premières vacances à Maurice et je ne pense pas que nous aurions pu recevoir un meilleur accueil. Nous avons tester deux des qu’âtres restaurant et avons été enchanté à chaque fois ! Une variété de plat qui réussira à combler même le plus fin des palais !
Le personnel est au petit soin avec nous et très réactif, les chambres sont impeccable et le service de nettoyage l’est tout autant (un grand merci à Anil pour toutes ses attentions).
Si vous y allez je vous conseille de passer par le spa où j’ai pu recevoir une manucure royale et où nous avons eu un des meilleurs massage de notre existence.
Un grand merci à toute l’équipe du Westin qui a fait de ces vacances un véritable rêve éveillé.
