Die gut in die Gegend angepasste Hotel Anlage, ist für Afrika erstklassig gebaut worden. Das Resort ist eher klein, was sich angenehm auf die Ruhe auswirkt. Das Essen war mehrheitlich gut, das Frühstück reichhaltig. Die ersten 5 Tage waren allerdings die Früchte weder richtig frisch, noch sehr schmackhaft. Dies hat sich zum positiven verändert, als der Besitzer des Hotels mit Familie ankam…
Das Service Personal arbeitet sehr motiviert und zuvorkommend. Die festen Abläufe funktionieren gut. Wie meist in Afrika, benötigen Sonderwünsche aber mehrere Anläufe und Geduld. Die Online Buchung samt Bezahlung lief erstklassig.
Was das Office jedoch nicht zu Stande brachte, war eine fünf Tage im Voraus getätigte Bestellung für Blumen zum Geburtstag, dies sei zu kurzfristig, war die schwache Antwort. Ich konnte die Blumen dann selbst online organisieren.
Gesamthaft haben wir aber acht wunderbare Tage im Le Jadis verbracht.

An amazing resort. How can a resort be so perfect?
Right from our arrival, rooms, staff , service everything is extraordinary. Recently came here for vacation and I couldn’t leave this place ????
I want to thank every single person in the resort. The most kindest and always there to help you. I would suggest this place to everyone I know visiting Mauritius.

Dans le cadre de notre voyage de Noces, nous avons séjourné dans plusieurs hôtels de l'ile, notamment au Jadis en formule petit déjeuné afin de se laisser libre choix de notre restauration.
Notre chambre comportait une piscine privative avec vu sur l'océan. Quelle MAGNIFIQUE chambre ! Une très bonne literie, une salle de bain très spacieuse, grande douche faisant également un petit hammam. Une grande baignoire. Une piscine chauffé au degré que vous souhaitez. De la piscine vous pourrez apprécier les magnifiques couché de soleil !
L'hôtel est très sympa, des un esprit de bois, très calme et apaisant. La plage est un peu moins jolie que dans d'autres endroits cependant la piscine est très belle. L'emplacement géographique est super pour visiter le nord et nord ouest de l'ile.
La restauration... Une pépite, notamment celui principal ! Des prix très abordable, une restauration qualitatif.
Le personnel quand a lui est une juste GENIAL ! Au petit soin, vous vous retrouvez cocooné par des personnes bienveillantes, aimables, qui se soucis que d'une chose : Votre confort.
Vous pouvez discuter avec eux, ils prendront le temps de vous raconter la culture mauricienne, les diverses culte religieux de l'ile maurice, vous donnerons des bonnes adresses.... vraiment des personnes FORMIDABLES.
Mention spécial aux serveurs/es du restaurant principal. Vous êtes superbes. Cet hôtel à une grande chance de tous vous avoir. Notamment l'une de vos serveuses qui a toujours tout mit en œuvre pour que nous passions un agréable moment, jusqu'à se rappeler du vin que j'ai adoré la veille afin de pouvoir me le servir le soir suivant... Nous n'avons pas pu lui dire Aurevoir lors de notre dernière soirée, un grand MERCI à elle !

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time at LeJadis Beach Resort & Hotel.
The room with a private pool was the absolute highlight, offering us perfect privacy. The entire resort has a wonderful atmosphere, ideal for relaxing and enjoying every moment.
The excellent facilities and outstanding service made our stay even better. We loved every second of our vacation and felt completely recharged. A perfect place for couples – we will definitely be back!

We stayed at the hotel for part of our honeymoon in July and the place definitely ticks all the boxes for the wow factor!
If you are looking for something special and luxurious then this hotel definitely delivers.
Arrival was warm, friendly and informative.
The room was absolutely stunning with our own private pool and hot tub backing on to a private beach.
The food was delicious also, but it was the staff that topped off the experience everyone from the helpful staff on the desk to our dinner waitress Nana (who was always polite and friendly ????).
But a HUGE thank you to Kiran who was simply superb, he really went above and beyond to make our stay at the hotel that bit extra special and we really appreciated all of his efforts, such a credit to Le Jardis.
Many thanks ???????? and we hope to visit again one day!

**Un séjour inoubliable au Jadis !**
Nous avons passé un séjour absolument magnifique à l’hôtel Le Jadis à l’île Maurice. Tout y est pensé pour rendre votre expérience exceptionnelle. Le personnel est tout simplement adorable et extrêmement attentionné, toujours prêt à répondre à nos moindres besoins avec un sourire.
Les 4 restaurants de l’hôtel sont tous excellents, avec des plats variés et savoureux qui ont comblé nos papilles à chaque repas. Même si l’hôtel est un peu isolé, cela apporte un calme et une sérénité qui rendent le séjour encore plus agréable. Un véritable havre de paix !
Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit à tous ceux qui recherchent un séjour de rêve.
Un remerciement spécial à Kiran, qui a pris le temps de nous partager ses connaissances sur l’île et sa culture, rendant notre voyage encore plus enrichissant.

Lovely hotel in a great location.
Although it is stated as a 5 star, I'd say this is a 4 star plus. A few little things make me say this. Certainly not issues, just my opinion. Examples are things such as inconsistent service, turndown service only on some days, some drinks being unavailable, having to ask for gym to be opened when stated 24 hours. As I say, nothing major at all, just me being picky and comparing to other 5 star hotels in similar locations.
The people make the experience excellent. Friendly, attentive and polite. Definitely 5/5.
Would like to call out Ajay, Nana and Savita in the Spa. Thanks guys!
Rooms great too, 5/5, very large and have everything you need. Food is 4/5 - certainly no issues but in my opinion didn't have the wow factor.
Spa is great, some issues with our booking but this was down to staffing problems that couldn't be helped. We did get a complimentary massage each as an apology. Gym is fab, had it to myself every day!
Location is good, some building work next door but not the hotels fault.
One thing to be wary of, they do have a family of stray cats that may bother you at meal times. Not an issue for my wife and I as we are cat people, and bless them they are just hungry or being trixie ????.

My husband and I had been to Angsana in 2022 after covid but I think Mauritius was not completely open to tourists at that time. The service we got was simply excellent. We had amazing food and access to the Jacuzzi which was out of this world.
We went again in April 2024 and OMG it was a horrible experience. Food was average, no variety from the buffet. Not enough options were available from à la carte but thanks to Mr. Shakhil, we truly enjoyed how he looked after us, especially being vegetarians.
We chose the same hotel again only because of the experience we had from last time. We truly wanted to have the same relaxing time in the jacuzzi and nowhere it’s mentioned at the time of booking that now it is available as from Rs 4,200 extra charge PER HEAD.
During our stay, we wanted to visit the hotel shop and it was 11:00. There was no one there. I tried asking a lady who was cleaning but she was quite rude to me, telling me that ‘Can’t you see it’s closed. It will open at 12:30 if it’s not open in the morning.’ I mean I am a client paying to stay at the hotel, how was I supposed to know about the TRUE opening hours. It’s written on there that it would be open at 11:00. Very disappointing and displeasing attitude from that staff.
At the time of our departure, we had to clear a bill of the things we consumed throughout our stay. There was Mrs. Samantha at the desk who assisted us. She neither asked us how our stay was nor if we encountered any issues during the 3 days we stayed. She handed the receipt to us and did not even bother about thanking us for our visit or hoping to see us in the future again. I mean this is basic things that hospitality personnels do, right?? These people need to go through proper training, I guess.
Will definitely not visit the hotel again. Thank you for ruining memories from our first experience ????♀️

Très bon hôtel, le personnel et la qualité du service sont excellents.

To be honest , that was my first time go to a hotel and i was wow???????? , my expectations will be always high by them
It was the birthday of my fiancé. And they make this amazing moment unique . The more we were there, we want to stay longer.
The service that is very important for me

My fiancé cannot with dairy and they make a special cake for me ???????? a surprise for him.
First time that i get a massage, and Mrs.Savita most amazing woman, she make me feel comfortable and having a conversation as mother to daughter which is so cold. All my respect to this woman.

The hotel was small overall but I loved the suite. We got the one with the private pool which was warm and lovely. I loved the little details and furniture and they even decorated the bud and made us a flower bubble bath on our first night???? if I could suggest one thing is possibly adding a few different items to the breakfast buffet every few days so people who stay long don't get bored

Sehr abgelegen aber mit Auto geht's. Direkt am Meer. Schöner Garten und wunderbarer Pool. Mit bequemen Liegen. Sehr schönes Hotel mit großen Zimmern 72qm guter Service freundliches Personal. Gutes Essen großes Frühstücksbuffet. Wenig Leute Ende September Anfang Oktober. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Gruß D.wepfer

This hotel is FAR from 5 stars. It is very run down and nearly everything is broken or damaged. The food for dinner was terrible, breakfast was just about bearable. The only good thing is the private pool but we were unable to use it for the majority of our stay because it was freezing cold. We were only able to actually use it on our last day so the whole stay was a waste of money as that’s the only reason we booked this hotel. If you’re looking for a true 5 star hotel book Lux Grand Baie, the epitome or luxury and they have great service too.

Having said that, with all due respect, I have to disagree with your comment that “nearly everything is broken or damaged”. Our team is constantly working to maintain and improve our facilities, and your comment does not align with the findings of our last weekly inspection. It would certainly have been helpful if you had identified the specific areas that you are referring to so that we could focus our efforts accordingly.
Likewise, had you mentioned your disappointment on our dining offers during your stay, we could have pinpointed the specific dishes that were not up to expectations and brought them up to our Chefs’ attention with a view to improve upon them. Nevertheless, we appreciate your feedback and will review our offerings so as to improve upon their quality. On this note, I would like to mention that our four on-site restaurants offer a variety of cuisines, namely French & European, Asian, Mauritian and International cuisines. Additionally, our international breakfast buffet selection features Mauritian, Asian and Mediterranean corners with the aim of suiting the diverse preferences of our guests.
As to the private pool attached to your luxury suite, I am sorry to hear that you could not enjoy it throughout most of your stay. All our private pools are temperature-controlled at the generally preferred temperature of 28 degrees Celsius. Your feedback, however, implies that the pool water was still too cold for your preference. I only wish that we had been made aware of your dissatisfaction regarding the temperature of your private pool so that we could have had a chance to find a solution towards it.

We booked 3 ocean front suites with private heated pools and got on upgrade for one room to be beach front suite with jacuzzi. Hotel and the rooms are really beautiful. Staff is super friendly and immediately addressing every wish. The chef is excellent and very happy to explain to you the local cuisine and adjust the dishes to your dietary restrictions. Spa is also nice with good staff and excellent service. In general not all the staff understands English well, but when in doubt, they ask for a supervisor to assist to avoid confusion. The only negative point is that the beach in front of the hotel is rocky when you enter the water, it’s manageable but there are nicer beaches on the island. The hotel is still very recommended!

Séjour en lune de miel je tenais à partager mon avis concernant l’hôtel ainsi que son personnel.
L’hôtel est vraiment splendide propre et discret il correspond totalement à nôtre attente.
Le best de cette hôtel est le personnel que ce soit de la réception passant par la restauration ainsi que le service de chambre sans oublier les jardiniers (auxquels nous avons planté la fleur de l’amour ????).
Tout le monde est aux petits soins répondent à chaque besoin avec le sourire et cela sans interruption ????????
Un grand merci à Renu qui est notre coup de ♥️ si avenante et aux petits soins ainsi que Ayvin le manager des restaurants d’une gentillesse incroyable ????
Et Notre petit jodi un de l’équipe de la réception si mignon et agréable.
Et évidemment Melanie l’hôtesse qui s’occupe des excursions qui est juste subliminale ????

We have received upgrade on our room, what has been absolutely fantastic and without that not sure what we would have done in this hotel. We had ground floor room with pool but we received top floor instead. It’s a massive difference.
Breakfast has been good, however, because careful with it as some of the stuff had mould. Could of caused me food poisoning. We paid for the buffet in the evening too and have been well disappointed. A disaster. Not worth a penny. All they had extra options for pasta and chicken. We have been well happy we haven’t wasted our money for full board. Outside food is half of what we paid and way better.
Sauna, steam room not included in B&B. Classes advised online and at reception are incorrect. They temporary not doing any aqua classes and yoga in a mornings not at 9am. I have went several times just to be let waiting. Throughout my visit I have managed to book myself into 3 yoga sessions. It was personalised as it was only myself doing it. Each time had to check what time it is as information have never been updated at reception.
Hotel has misleading information and needs to work on it. Same with shisha. We wanted to try and have been looking at the menu of 8 options. Staff advised few unavailable and once we been ready to place an order other staff advised only 2 options available. It’s not even the busiest time at the hotel yet.
Only on Tuesdays we heard live piano, no other nights anything have been going on.
At the beach you can get free kayaks, paddle boards, class boat trip. What was nice and at least something to do throughout time we stayed at the hotel.
So we loved our room and spend most of the time in our private pool. Beach is not great for a swim. Water activities can be only done at high tide. Spa is pretty much none exciting, no worth to go for full board, overpriced drinks. But nice and helpful staff.
