The rooms are spacious and have all the mod cons. They also have a slightly lived-in feeling that I would expect from a four-star hotel but not a luxury resort. Nothing that an upholsterer and a painter could not easily fix - but it's not been done, yet.
Breakfast was very much OK, albeit not outstanding given, and we'll come to that in a moment, the price.
WiFi is free and works reasonably well for work but not for streaming, if that is your thing. There are no convenience stores or similar to be found. Which brings me to food...
The buffet we went for on the first evening was, delicately put, very much sub standard and extortionately priced. By which I mean €60 for the buffet with not even tap water included. We ended up paying €80 per person in exchange for what can best be described as canteen food. Just a few minutes down the road by taxi, several very good and moderately priced restaurants can be found, and I would encourage everyone to steer clear of the buffet.
Speaking of prices, we were here on a company bill, so, no complaints. But €300 per night for this resort seems quite unreasonable.
That is not to say that the stay was not pleasant. It was, and very much so. But the resort is "OK," not "great" or "outstanding."
