What to improve:
- The staff could have provided more information about the activities and what to expect. They didn’t give us any relevant information when we checked in.
- trekking: I wish there were some signs explaining about native plants and endemic animals that can be found on the property. unfortunately we didn’t see any while trekking, but it would have been interesting to know at least something about it.
- They claim to be eco but they have a dozen deers hung at the walls and most of the interior decorations are from animals.
Also they have a buffet for dinner. I would recommend a la carte menu to reduce food waste.
HOWEVER, there are some things that were not so nice ????
- i took a full board package and went to lunch at falaise rouge. I was charged Rs500 for 2 glasses of sprite. ???????? SOOOOO EXPENSIVE ????????
- we are provided with a transport to go up to the lodges but the parking where we can keep our car is not 100% safe as we were told. So we had to take my small car up the rocky road.
ELSE, if you looking for a quiet, safe place with nice staff who are very helpful and a place where you wake up to a beautiful scenery, then ferney lodge is the place. Superb experience ????
Pour le petit déjeuner et le souper top rien à dire, le petit déjeuner était varié et complet et pour le souper la variété et la qualité étaient aussi au rendez vous!

L’accueil, le service, le confort, la cuisine, l’infrastructure, tout était parfait. Venir sur Maurice et manquer cette étage serait une erreur. Merci pour cette merveilleuse pause.

We were a bit disappointed for breakfast , we were expected for a Cooked breakfast, for example poached eggs. Smoked salmon and hollandaise sauce , crepe Suzette etc,
I shared photos of the lodge etc. All my family and friends were so impressed and they want to book .
.,..Lunch was delicious., we had lunch at la Falaise Rouge . Staff very friendly and great hospitality. We will be back may be next year . I will surely recommend the Ferney Nature Lodge.

The view from all places of the lodge is spectacular. We did the 4x4 tour, thanks to Kanny, top tour guide.
We would recommend every Mauritius tourist a visit for a couple of days to Ferney Nature Lodge!
The food at dinner was very delicious. However, for breakfast we did not received enough choice and the service was not satisfactory. We were not given the list of food that can be requested, for example egg or sausage and were not even asked if we want anything else.
We appreciate you sharing your experience with us. It brings us joy to learn that you enjoyed the location, bedroom, pool, and the wildlife around our property.
We regret to hear that the food options did not meet your expectations. Our Chef endeavours to offer a diverse selection catering options, including fish, chicken, venison, wild boar, and vegetarian options, with a daily-changing menu.

Les chambres sont magnifiques tout comme le lodge principal.
La nourriture du dîner est locale et excellente, tout comme le petit déjeuner.
Le service est parfait, mention spéciale pour Nishal qui est d'une gentillesse et d'une efficacité exceptionnelle.
Il est possible de visiter le parc naturel avec un guide, une petite randonnée de 2h à travers la foret endémique très instructif.

L'accueil est chaleureux, le lieu décoré avec beaucoup de goût.
Le petit déjeuner complet, charcuterie, fromage, céréales...fruits, jus de fruits frais...
Le dîner est servi en buffet, spécialités mauriciennes. Le repas est bon.
J'y retournerais sans hésitation a mon prochain passage sur Maurice
Man erreicht die Lodge nur über eine off-road Strecke, die zwar mit Mietwagen zu schaffen ist, aber ansonsten auch per Jeep überwunden werden kann. Check in ist am Eingang des Natur Reservats, dort Holt einen der Jeep dann ab. Super wäre noch die info gewesen wie und wie lange der Jeep pick up klappt, ist nämlich nur bis 5. so waren wir einmal gezwungen selbst unser Auto zu quälen.
Man kann hier fantastisch wandern und wir haben neben Rehen, Affen, Wildschweinen jede Menge Flughunde gesehen. Salamander und Frösche gab es auch jede Menge, teilweise im Zimmer.
Das Frühstück ist ausreichend, mit viel frischem Obst und Ei.
Das Abendessen ist in Buffet Form jeden Abend anders gewesen und hat für jeden etwas dabei.
Abends kann man den Tag am Kamin ausklingen lassen.
Das hotel bietet weiterhin alle möglichen Aktivitäten im Park wie Quad Touren, bike Touren, geführte Wanderungen, sundowner Touren, Yoga und vieles weitere gegen Aufpreis an.
