Aber was für eine Freude, sich auf diesem Balkon zum Ozean von der charmanten Therese eine bemerkenswerte kreolische Küche servieren zu lassen! Anse Lazio ist nur 15 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, aber das Auto ist Pflicht und der Zugang erfolgt von der anderen Seite der Insel, von Anse Kerlan aus.

❌BUT There’s no way to enjoy the island and the stay in general without a car, and I would have appreciated a heads up. The part of the island on which the apartment is located lacks everything (for example, it’s 20 minutes away from the closest place that makes coffee, and when that one is closed there is nothing at a reasonable distance). It’s on top of a hill, and the roads are STEEP. Which means that while anse Lazio is relatively close, it’s not easily accessible to everyone and from this part of the island it requires to hike through a short trail. The same beach has a super easy access on the other side of the island, but it’s a 40 minutes drive. The bed and the pillows are uncomfortable. The wifi is slow at times but functional

2) do NOT follow google maps directions: Instead google map to Constance Limuria and before you get to Constance Limuria, take steep road up on the right, keep going straight, pass two bus stops, keep going (no worries) and you will see it on your left. Luckily owner gave us driving direction on the spot.
