Besucht in september 2023
I stayed at the Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa in November 2015. This hotel is located on a medium sized island, which is partly under nature protection. Therefore it is necessary to reach the island from the main island, which I did by a private boat transfer. The transfer from the main island Mahé was perfectly organized. Upon arrival at the offshoot there were drinks and various snacks. The crossing to Silhouette took about three quarters of an hour. There is also an option to book a helicopter transfer. Upon arrival, I was met by a greeting committee and received a friendly welcome from the hotel staff. I was then given a private tour of the island in a golf cart, and shown the entire resort. The service staff at the Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa are very attentive and always eager to fulfill every desire. This hotel offers a lot of amenities such as an air-conditioned gym with the latest equipment, a large pool and a great spa area, so I wasn't missing anything. I will be happy to return to the Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa.

Vorab - das Hotel hat seine 5 Sterne nicht verdient. Die Lage ist traumhaft und die Zimmer sind gut. Jedoch war dies schon an positiven Feedback.
Das Hotel versucht jedem das Geld aus der Tasche zu ziehen. 30€ für einen Bürger oder 9€ für ein normales Getränk. Weiterhin gibt es bei bestimmten Speisen Aufpreise ca. 10€…
Das Personal ist mal gut und mal miserabel. Zum Beispiel wurde uns die Rechnung gebracht ohne das wir drum gebeten haben.
Schwimmen geht aufgrund des flachen Pegels kaum, bei Flut ist es bedingt möglich.
Das Hotel kann ich nicht weiterempfehlen, die Insel schon. Da ich schon in etlichen Hotels war wie riu oder iberostar, kann ich nur sagen, dass es das schlechteste Hotel war!
Des Weiteren habe ich erfahren, dass das Hotel influenzer kostenlos einlädt, damit diese eine tolle Bewertung abgegeben;)
Überlegt gut!
PS: Seychellen haben noch andere schön Insel.

Honeymoon auf Silhouette:
Als wir ankamen wurden wir gleich in ein Golfcar gebracht und erstmal duch das Resort geführt, im Vergleich zum Constance Lemuria auf Praslin war das eher nur runtergerattert und eher lustlos gestaltet.
Angekommen in der Strandvilla wussten wir sofort das hier nicht mit honeymoon geplant wurde.
Also rief ich bei der Rezeption an und fragte ob dies bekannt sei und der Teamleiter sagte mir das in ihrem System nichts davon zu finden sei er aber das ganze arrangiert und morgen etwas kommen wird.
Natürlich kann nichts und ich rief wieder an, wieder nichts.
Kompetenz = 0
Läuft man durch die Anlage Stehen 80% der Servicekräfte mit dem Handy in der Hand gelangweilt rum, nicht irgendwo hinter einem Pfeiler sondern direkt in mitten des Geschehens, was dann natürlich einen super professionellen Eindruck macht.
Einen Abend waren wir im Buffet Restaurant, dann niemehr wieder.
Das Essen ist leider nicht sehr schmackhaft.
Die a' la Card Restaurants sind super!
Service dort ist Super!
Strand ist OK.
Schwimmen ist nur bei Flut möglich denn das Wasser hat ca 1m Tiefe.
DAS WIRKLICH EINZIG RICHTIG GUTE dort war unser Roomboy Allaudu, er war großartig!
Während unserer Hochzeitsreise waren wir in 4 Hotels unter anderem auch in Südafrika wo wir als honeymooner auf die beste Zimmer-Kategorie geupgraded wurden und eine Champagner Flasche auf das Hotel bekamen samt Special am Abend.
Im Constance Lemuria war es das selbe, Bomben Hotel mit Bomben Service und Weltklasse essen im Buffet.
Honeymoon Special gab es natürlich auch.
Ich muss sagen das ich vom Hilton la Romana in der Karibik begeistert war.
Leider ist das Hilton auf den Seychellen nichtmal der Rede und die Sterne wert.
Wir wurden bewusst auch nicht beim Checkout gefragt wie es war und ob alles zu unseren Wünschen war.
Service also Extrem miserabel.
Danke für die letzten 5 Tage unserer Honeymoon die ihr ruiniert habt.

It was nightmare to stay there. Our room was dirty and it wasn't cleaned up. Stuff is really unfriendly. I needed to wait 5h after came there for cleaning my room. Food delicious but there is normal that you can have diarrhea so this is probably why there are toilets everywhere.

Really wonderful hotel. First let’s get the bad part out of the way. Yes the food and drinks are a bit pricy but around what you would pay at a decent restaurant in London. The food is some of the best I’ve had at hilton hotels. It taste very good and is presented very nicely. I’d avoid ordering anything that comes from a cow though. The ribeye looked like minute steak. The seafood and chicken dishes are amazing and worth what they charge.
The staff is exceptional. They are friendly and helpful. The service is better than most European restaurants. The cleaning staff does an amazing job as well. If there was anything that went wrong during the stay they always made sure to take care of it. It’s really good service.
The location is amazing and I love falling asleep to the sound of waves. We had a room on the beach and it felt like we had our own villa on an empty island.
Cafe Duban, 4 degrees and portobello have amazing food that is prepared exceptionally well. I’d avoid the street food night, it’s not that special. We never went to the buffet while we were here but from what I gather from reviews, the street food night is the best of the buffet and I was not impressed. It’s basically what you would get at Golden Corral in the US. We were hopping it would be unique street food dishes you would get from around the world. Instead it’s just roasted meat, chicken, paella and pizza.
Getting here isn’t too bad. Yes it take a bit of time but you are going to a deserted island. I think the easiest would be to stay at the hotel on the main island before and after your stay to make transfers easier. We tried to get a helicopter from the airport but had it canceled because it was raining. Luckily the hotel sorted it out so we could stay at their sister hotel and get the boat the next day. Again. The staff is exceptional and really want to make your stay wonderful and carefree.
If you are lucky enough to be a diamond member, breakfast at the portobello is so much better than the buffet breakfast. The breakfast slider is amazing and you pretty much have breakfast in a restaurant all to yourself. They also gave us a 20% discount on food throughout our stay. Not sure if that was cause we are diamond or stayed for 12 nights.
All and all, we both loved the stay. Thank you Hilton Labriz.

The PERFECT honeymoon! My new wife and I spent 4 nights at Labriz after 5 nights at Hilton Northolme (on the main island). The entire experience was wonderful. Not just the location, but the food, the rooms, and the staff were all so amazing! A special shout-out to Abel in F&B who was at hand during our breakfasts and dinners. Always so positive and kind! Same goes to Caroline and Annan! It was also a delight to have our Tepenyaki (and Omelletes!) cooked by the talented Chef Khavindu who is a VERY talented cook and a gentleman.
As the resort is essentially the only main building on the island, we were worried there wouldn’t be much to do, but the resort was filled with activities. We stayed in a beachfront villa and the host/cleaner for our room was always helpful and checking if we need anything. Every morning we’d wake up with the sunrise beaming through from just over the ocean. Paradise!
I saw someone complain on another review that the pathways outside were not maintained well and covered in leaves. This was quite juvenile in our opinion. The grounds were swept early every morning (as we’d wake up early and go for a walk and see all the staff at work). There would be some leaves, seeds and carobs (brown things which to the untrained eye may look like floral but it’s actually a very tasty fruit) that would fall to the ground throughout the day, which is expected in what is essentially a resort in a beachfront jungle! But to say the grounds weren’t well kept would be a total misdescription :)
The food was mostly excellent bar a few misses. The staff were constantly asking ask if we need anything or how our stay is going, it got a little tiring having to constantly tell them how wonderful everything is haha
The staff and the location really did make our honeymoon perfect and we are grateful!
Also - there is local wildlife everywhere which we loved! (Don’t be scared of the crabs, they’re everywhere but super shy)
I doubt we’ll stay in such an excellent place anytime soon, but we hope we do!
My ONE small complaint was the price of the boat transfer. A little steep, but as it’s the only way to get to this paradise, not worth dropping a star over (maybe get some travel sickeneness pills if your prone to seasickness as there can be a little chop.)
Otherwise, amazing!!! Thank you again to everyone at the Labriz!!

Im Mai 2023 verbrachten wir eine Woche im Hilton Labriz Two-Bedroom Silhouette Estate in der Presidential Villa.
Der Transfer auf die Insel Silhouette ist per Fähre ab Mahé oder per Helikopter möglich; wir wählten zum 1. Mal den Hubschrauber und es war ein fantastisches Erlebnis. Zudem konnten wir so direkt in ca. 25 Minuten von La Digue auf Silhouette fliegen.
Das gesamte Resort ist wunderschön und die Präsidenten-Villa ist einfach nur traumhaft. Das Estate mit rund 1.200 qm besteht aus einem Eingangsbereich, einem separaten Wohnbereich mit Zugang zum privaten Sonnendeck mit eigenem Pool und privatem Zugang zum Strand über Treppen, einem Pavillon sowie der 2-stöckigen Hauptvilla mit jeweils großem Schlafzimmer, riesigem Badezimmer und Balkon bzw. Terrasse. Zusätzlich ist im EG eine Außendusche vorhanden. Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön mit einem traumhaften Garten. Unser Butler Swamy war einfach fantastisch und hielt das Estate sauber und instand. Zudem durften wir den Service genießen, von Swamy mit dem Elektro-Buggy zu den Restaurants gefahren und abgeholt zu werden.
Wir hatten Vollpension und können dies auch empfehlen. Wir nutzten alle Restaurants, die im All-Iclusive enthalten waren:
-Café Dauban: Frühstück und Dinner als Buffet
-Aria/Lo Brizan: Mittagessen à la carte
-Grann Kaz: kreolisches Dinner-Restaurant à la carte
-Portobello: à la carte Frühstück und mediterranes Dinner à la carte
-Sakura: Asian Fusion Küche abends à la carte.
Das Japanese Teppanyaki und das The Four Degrees waren im All-Inclusive nicht enthalten.
Insgesamt verbrachten wir eine traumhafte Woche in diesem kleinen Paradies und können Insel & Resort absolut empfehlen.
Der Transfer auf die Insel Silhouette ist per Fähre ab Mahé oder per Helikopter möglich; wir wählten zum 1. Mal den Hubschrauber und es war ein fantastisches Erlebnis. Zudem konnten wir so direkt in ca. 25 Minuten von La Digue auf Silhouette fliegen.
Das gesamte Resort ist wunderschön und die Präsidenten-Villa ist einfach nur traumhaft. Das Estate mit rund 1.200 qm besteht aus einem Eingangsbereich, einem separaten Wohnbereich mit Zugang zum privaten Sonnendeck mit eigenem Pool und privatem Zugang zum Strand über Treppen, einem Pavillon sowie der 2-stöckigen Hauptvilla mit jeweils großem Schlafzimmer, riesigem Badezimmer und Balkon bzw. Terrasse. Zusätzlich ist im EG eine Außendusche vorhanden. Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön mit einem traumhaften Garten. Unser Butler Swamy war einfach fantastisch und hielt das Estate sauber und instand. Zudem durften wir den Service genießen, von Swamy mit dem Elektro-Buggy zu den Restaurants gefahren und abgeholt zu werden.
Wir hatten Vollpension und können dies auch empfehlen. Wir nutzten alle Restaurants, die im All-Iclusive enthalten waren:
-Café Dauban: Frühstück und Dinner als Buffet
-Aria/Lo Brizan: Mittagessen à la carte
-Grann Kaz: kreolisches Dinner-Restaurant à la carte
-Portobello: à la carte Frühstück und mediterranes Dinner à la carte
-Sakura: Asian Fusion Küche abends à la carte.
Das Japanese Teppanyaki und das The Four Degrees waren im All-Inclusive nicht enthalten.
Insgesamt verbrachten wir eine traumhafte Woche in diesem kleinen Paradies und können Insel & Resort absolut empfehlen.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Hilton Hotel Silhoute that compels me to share this review. My interaction with one of the hotel staff, Maurau, left me feeling utterly dissatisfied and frustrated.
On 1st September staying in villa 107 , I encountered a flat tire while riding one of the hotel's bicycles. Hoping for assistance, I came across another bicycle parked conveniently on my route, which I exchanged for my flat-tire bicycle. Later, I crossed paths with Maurau, who was operating one of the hotel's electric karts meant for guest pick-up and drop-off.
I politely requested Maurau's help to transport me to my villa, explaining that I was exhausted from dealing with the flat tire. He agreed, but with an unexpected condition – I needed to return the bicycle I had exchanged earlier to its original location before he could provide me with a ride. This seemed reasonable, so I willingly agreed and rode the flat-tire bicycle back to its spot.
However, my frustration began to mount when Maurau, upon returning to me, insisted that I must ride the flat-tire bicycle all the way back to the activity center before he could offer me a ride to my villa. This demand was not only unreasonable but also felt inconsiderate given my exhaustion.
Feeling abandoned and mistreated, I left the bicycle at the activity center and had to walk for more than a kilometer to reach my destination. This unnecessary ordeal not only spoiled my day but also left me exhausted and frustrated.
To my disbelief, Maurau later encountered me halfway outside the activity center and offered me a ride from there. By that point, I had managed to walk halfway and declined the offer. When I politely asked for his name, he responded with sarcasm and drove away while making derogatory facial expressions.
This level of hospitality and customer service is utterly unacceptable from a brand like Hilton Hotel. I expected a far higher standard of service and courtesy. Instead, I was met with a complete lack of empathy and respect for a guest's comfort and well-being.
This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth and cast a shadow over what should have been an enjoyable stay. I implore Hilton Hotel Silhoute to investigate this incident thoroughly and take steps to ensure that such lapses in service and professionalism do not recur.
My trust in Hilton Hotel Silhoute's commitment to guest satisfaction has been severely shaken, and I hope that this review serves as a catalyst for improvement in your customer service standards.

I am quite happy with usual high-level-service from Hilton. Great place on island of Silhouette. Journey starts with ferry from Hilton lounge (organized two times a day). 45 minutes and you are in Paradise. Feeling yourself like on Maldives but better. You have trails to wander the nature, you have shallow water, white sand and lots of Instagram places. Rooms not modern, but well maintained and kept clean and accurate by nice personal, special regards to Himanshu for keeping all our stuff in order!
air-conditioned works very silent (a big advantage!). All smiling, helping, caring and let you fill the Hilton's family. I enjoy beach villa with small pool hearing the waves and admiring sun dawn.All very privat. Complimentary water is tasty. Lots of green making shadows. Own garden with greens for salads :), cocoas for breakfast, wide range of dishes. All add-on restaurants for dinner are good. Was a bit disappointed in 4th degree, as nice langoustines and fish were brought to the table already quite cold. The waiters did not pay much attention to the tables, preferring only some of them. Anyway - the vine was brought from other restaurant quite quick.
If you have HB - dinner in main bistro is nice.
What I want to mentioned for those who want to use trails for hiking: do NOT wear flip-flops!!! only appropriate shoes! I have seen no signs about that, but saw people almost barefoot on slippery rocks in the deep forest! But picturesque view - guaranteed!
Will recommend that place for sure!

A comfortable and peaceful facility in a truly special natural gem. The hotel has its own boat terminal in Mahe, which is well equipped to kill a couple hours between flight arrivals and the actual transfer towards Silhouette Island (which takes 30-50'). Staff are very welcoming upon arrival and an e-buggy intro tour is organized right away. Villas are evenly distributed along a stretch of white sand; even central facilities are placed in a way that prevents the whole place from ever feeling crowdy. Villas are sober yet elegant thanks to their spacious layouts and fine materials. The sea is a stone's throw away from most of them - the tide does slightly affect the beach's swimmability (plus reef shoes are always recommended) but one can pretty much always lie in natural shade at 10-20 mts away from the water. Breakfast is great, I felt like nothing crucial was missing, including local delicacies. A key potential improvement would be more local fruit and fresh juices (not pre-packaged ones). The rest of the food scene was overall good but improvable in terms of value for money considering the half board fare. I would definitely recommend the Grann Katz creole restaurant, but the standard buffet and other options sometimes lacked in choice, originality and local twist, specially during lunch. Also several of the restaurant and menu options required additional charges, which I found slightly annoying. Activities are way overpriced and easily booked up. Would be great to have a wider choice and a wider price range instead of a few accessible activities and many "out-of-league" ones. There is however a good diving centre which is well managed by a dedicated team. Staff were overall very nice and seemingly well trained. Would recommend for a 3-5 day stay, landscapes and nature were truly amazing and not easily found elsewhere!

Heureusement que les chambres sont très agréables (et je pense que ça ne vaut que pour les beachfront villas). Je n’ose imaginer les pauvres gens qui réservent une semaine dans les chambres classiques…
On est très très loin du niveau des autres 5 étoiles des Seychelles.
L’hôtel profite de leur magnifique situation pour délaisser complètement le niveau de service.
Le responsable de l’hôtel devrait aller passer quelques jours au Constance ou au Raffles pour voir la différence.
Mention tout de même à certains membres du staff qui cherchent à élever un peu le niveau (Merci Thiru, Anna et la personne de la boutique).
De manière générale le personnel se désintéresse de votre situation. Communication désastreuse. Amabilité très variable… kids club et centre d’activités déplorables… affalés sur leurs ordinateurs, on a vraiment l’impression de déranger…
Materiel vieillissant. Vélos dangereux.
Aucune attention ni anticipation des besoins.
Concernant la restauration, buffet du soir à bannir. Un vrai vol avec une qualité désastreuse. (170€ avec 2 enfants. On a mangé 4 fois plus avec le room service pour un quart du prix)
Le petit déjeuner est correct mais la encore très loin d’un 5 étoiles.
Les déjeuners à la carte sont les seuls agréables.
Petite surprise :
Beaucoup de faux avis déposés. Notamment par le personnel de l’hôtel… (vous pourriez au moins leur dire de changer leurs noms…)

The resort is an amazing experience and hard to describe overall in words. Hilton Labriz and all its crew offers an impeccable service. My husband and I have been here for our honeymoon and we really had everything we could ever dream for. This moment that matters was truly made perfect by Hilton, from the welcoming, island tour, perfect setting, accommodation and cosiness of the villa, the beaches, restaurants to the small touches and hospitality of the crew.
We spent 2 weeks in paradise and all seemed like a dream come true... but was all there. There is nothing to complain about in Hilton Labriz and we wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wants a moment in secluded paradise.
There are endless possibilities of spending the time on Silhouette island (if laying all day by the beach isn't your thing): from hikings (easy, 2-3km ones up to hard 20km ones) where you discover hidden gems of this paradise islands, crabs, fishes, birds, tortoises and amazing views, to diving activities, water sports, tennis, padel, minigolf. We tried quite some but the hiking to Anse Mondon was our favourite.. after you climb and reach that view, to the cove beach, all is worthed. Even if we don't have kids, there were plenty of activities and camp for children, various age groups, so parents can definitely enjoy their romantic time alone.
We want to specially thank Caroline for being an amazing hostess to us, remembering all the details, ready to support with anything with a smile on her face welcoming us to every breakfast, to Pradeep for excellent service, the best waiter we have been served, impeccable to ever detail who made our dinners in Portobello a high class experience, to the crew in Grann Kaz who were so kind and helped us get a taste of the local cuisine, to all our drivers around, to the captain of Lady Eliza who drove us to unique snorkeling places (got to see turtles, shark, seastar, stingray, all kinds of fishes) and romantic sunset cruise, to our cleaners who made the rooms spotless.
Overall, Hilton Labriz was for us a paradise moment, the perfect start for a lifetime together. Thank you!

I’m sad to rate this hotel so low but unfortunately I can’t recommend coming here for the following reasons:
- I’ve never stayed at a hotel close to this price point that seems so intent on nickel-and-diming their guests. For example, they don’t provide free snorkels which is common at other resorts. The boat transfer doesn’t offer free seasickness medication. You CANNOT swim without swim shoes because the beach is covered in sharp corals - they charge $45 for a pair of those so bring your own. They try to convince you hikes are dangerous and require permission from the manager if you opt not the pay for a guide.
- The staff knows the resort under delivers which is made clear by the fact that no one asks about your stay, even at check-out. The only request for feedback was made via text message. It seems the resort is keen on listening to feedback in reviews but couldn’t care less when you’re actually there.
- The resort grounds are badly maintained for a hotel of this caliber. Comparing it to other resorts in the Seychelles or the Maldives, the grounds look like a roadside motel. Lawns are sparse, bushes have big holes in them etc. Some of the buildings like the buffet/breakfast restaurant feel straight out of the 80s.
A few positives:
+ better than expected vegan food.
+ beautiful beach despite quite a lot of seaweed and sharp corals (bring your own snorkel and swim shoes).
+ nice bathroom (despite ant infestation)

Easily the worst beach resort experience we’ve ever had. You can definitely tell that something’s wrong with management here because all the staff either seem to hate their job, hate the guests, or just are completely apathetic to everyone and everything. It really felt like everyone, save for a few really wonderful staff members in the restaurant and housekeeping, was trying their best to do the absolute minimum at every request. A few staff members even loudly scoffed at us for confirming our coffee was made with soy milk (we’re allergic to milk protein). There’s also very barebones and conflicting information regarding activities like the hikes, and when asking the staff about it they would always give half an answer, like “yes you can do that hike on your own” without saying “you’ll need to start walking early in the morning because of the tides,” which ultimately prevented us from doing any of the hikes we wanted. Hope hotel management does something to combat this issue which seems to be deeply rooted in the resort’s culture.

Barefoot luxury - that's what the hotel description said.
We stayed at the resort for 10 days as a family and felt completely at ease.
Fantastic complex with restaurants, spa, activity center, kids club, pool and plenty of space to relax.
As a Hilton Honors member, there were a few extras (e.g. late check out and various vouchers).
The staff was super friendly and always eager.
Everything runs smoothly and is excellently managed.
Highly Recommended.

Une merveille !! Une île incontournable des Seychelles, sauvage et tellement dépaysante. L'hôtel est magnifiquement aménagé et se fond parfaitement dans le paysage. La plage est magnifique avec son lagon qui se découvre à marée basse.

Un endroit de rêve sur une très belle île des Seychelles perdue au milieu de l'océan indien. Les villas sont magnifiques (environ 100m2) avec un accès direct à la plage. Une très belle piscine et surtout un spa splendide qui domine l'océan avec Jacussi, sauna et hammam inclus dans le forfait. Restaurant délicieux. Seul petit bémol, pas de sortie snorkeling dans le forfait. A recommander pour un dépaysement total.
Propre,spacieux avec salle de bain de rêve.La piscine a débordement de l'hôtel est splendide.L'endroit est magnifique ,calme et relaxant.
