This place looks beautiful from the outside and right inside the lobby and Bistro. When we walked in, we were like wow, this place looks like it’s been renovated and very up-to-date until we rounded the corner and got to the elevator to go upstairs to our room. The elevator was filthy the carpets the second you stepped onto the second floor, looked like they were from the 1980s, the smell was so musty. Then we walked into our room and immediately saw what looked like a hole that had been eaten in the side of the dresser by a rodent the nightstand was old. The plug-ins were so old that our phone chargers prongs needed to be bent in order for them to just stay in the wall And let’s not even talk about the bathroom. It was absolutely disgusting. I put a towel in the bottom of the shower before I got in it and My bare feet never hit the floor. I am a Marriott member very recently, but I can honestly say I have never had an experience like this one. We literally got to the hotel at 10:24 and checked out at 8:23 this morning. This was the only place that had a room in the vicinity we checked out of the comfort Inn suites down the street Saturday morning, and I wish I could’ve had that room, back way cheaper and way cleaner
*But also, as you can see below in the response, management doesn't seem to think they have any problem, so nothing will likely get done to fix the attitudes around here. And that's all independent of the awful appearance of the entire hotel as evidence by the low overall google rating and the numerous other reviews. Rooms smell like smoke, furniture and carpet is run down, and some rooms didn't even have pillows. This place is an utter mess.
There was nobody there upon check-in, and once somebody finally arrived at the front desk, after missing multiple phone calls and guests, she walked to the welcome desk opposite of where the line had gathered and made people walk over to her. She gave multiple guests attitude, did not acknowledge any guest status, did not describe the property or say anything whatsoever other than handing people their keys. There are plenty of Marriott hotels in the world. I’ll make sure my company does not use this one from now on.
