HORSE RENTAL STÓRI-KAMBUR

Ich hatte einen traumhaften Ausritt am Strand in einer kleinen entspannten Gruppe.
Die Pferde waren sehr brav und selbst ich als kleine Angstreiterin hatte ein sicheres Gefühl.
Nur zu empfehlen! Definitiv ein Highlight meiner Islandreise, das ich nie vergessen werde!

Wir hatten eine einstündige Privattour gebucht und es war eines unserer Highlights auf Island. Eine Tour am wunderschönen Strand mit einem sehr aufmerksamen und netten Guide, der sehr auf uns eingegangen ist, da es für meinen Mann die erste Reittour war... superliebe Pferde... es war ein traumhafter Tag und wir sagen vielen Dank an Storikambur...

Wunderschöne Landschaft, sehr gute Haltung der Pferde und wirklich nette und kompetent geführte Touren zu einem fairen Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Wir kommen wieder:)

I’ve had the pleasure of doing the day tour in early summer and it was a fantastic experience. The guide was kind, experienced and really made us feel in good hands. The horses had a remarquable behavior and were easy to ride, even for beginners. The landscapes were beautiful and the tour gave us the opportunity to ride close the the Snaefellsjokull glacier, on the beach, in a lava field and we even crossed a river back and forth. We also had the chance to ride freely on the beach section of the tour and we’ve tested all gaits up to gallop. As for the negative, the ride is advertised at 4h-5h duration and it lasted over 6 hours in our case, with very little food and no water (Stori Kambur doesn’t allow backpacks). Moreover, there wasn’t anybody to welcome the clients at our arrival so we’ve waited a while before an employee finally came to see us. It is also important to note that a considerable part of the tour was on the side of car roads and that the facilities are very minimalistic. On a final note, Stori Kambur might not be perfect, but they offer an outstanding riding experience in a phenomenal landscape and they truly love and respect their horses.
