VILLA MANGO BED AND BREAKFAST

We unfortunately had a very bad experience with this hotel owner. At first he was super friendly. He showed us to our room where we noticed that there was no AC. Since we are riding our bicycles from Liberia to montezuma in the hot and dry season, we were specifically looking for a room with AC, and GOOGLE STATED THAT ALL ROOMS HAVE AC AT VILLA MANGO. I approached him a bit later to ask if there was any possibility of getting a refund because we had decided to find another place with AC. His demeanor shifted and he started lecturing us on how we need to read the details in the email more closely. It’s like a switch flipped. He said “now you are really pissing me off”and got in our face, commanding us to take our name off the reservation immediately so that he could make it available to someone else, and then told us to leave his property. Granted things had heated up a bit between us at that point but only after he started getting aggressive with us. I never even demanded a refund. I simply asked if it would be possible. I consider his behavior to be extremely unprofessional, especially for someone in the hospitality industry.

Charming, very reasonably inn with just a handful of rooms (8?).
We loved the pool set up, full of sun!
The tree above our lounge chair was full of monkeys!
Room was fine. Loved the large and open bathroom.
Great breakfast included with fruit, selection of bread, oats and eggs cooked to order, rice and beans.
A bit difficult to access high on the hill. Most restaurants and stores are quite a walk away.

Jo und Agnes haben hier einen ganz besonderen Ort geschaffen. Wir waren zwei Nächte hier und es hat uns absolut gefallen. 10 Minuten zu Fuß und man ist am Strand. Restaurants im Ort vorhanden. Besonders lecker war es bei Rosi's. Die vielen positiven Angaben zum Frühstück in der Villa können wir bestätigen.
Fazit: empfehlenswert!!!

Best B&B of our entire 2 weeks. Relaxing atmosphere, great hosts, delicious breakfast, nice pool and the view is gorgeous. Highly recommend.

Most amazing place! Created with love by the most genuine and clever couple. Definitely recommend this as a home base in Nosara.
