We had a dinner booking to celebrate a birthday occasion & I pre-ordered a Gaia cake, the receptionist offered us a very small table not convenient for any event & she didn’t behave professionally with us. I got a special packet of candles with holders with birthday cake toppers & I requested from the waitress to return them back for me after the event but they stole them & didn’t return them back & I thought they will call me the next day in case they forgot but they never called back. Very disappointed on Gaia’s level.

Their presentation and service was nice but normal food. The taste wasn’t worth the price enough. You pay for the high-end gorgeous atmosphere more than the value of the food.

The food is amazing and the restaurant has really cool vibes. We have visited a couple of times, in the last occasion service could have been a bit nicer but overall everything was great as usual.

Fav food in all Dubai

Gaia is one of my favorites restaurants in Dubai, but unfortunately after my last visit I’ll have to give it only 2 stars for the phone & front of house customer service. On Sat 31st of Mar my partner & I were excitedly rushing to Gaia for dinner to celebrate our 1st anniversary.

Realizing was a bit late, I thought best would be to call & inform the restaurant of such. On the other side of the line I was greeted by ms Alexandra who said that Mr X ( my partner’s name) has already arrived & I said that must been a mistake as he right was right next to me & driving.

However the conversation went on for like 5-10’ where I constantly had to repeat myself that my partner hasn’t arrived and we are late, but Ms Alexandra instead of easing the situation by at least checking the system to see if there was a mistake, a double booking, maybe two bookings under the same names, etc, she kept going with her story & doubting my words. My partner at some point confirmed that he was beside me and still didn’t convinced her.

The whole situation put me off and when I arrived at the restaurant’s reception I’ve asked for her, and she greeted me in a VERY cold way, never apologizing for the error made … as if I was in the wrong.

The other lady at the reception noticed her incorrect attitude and as a gesture of good will she made sure during our dinner we were treated very well, which I appreciated that!

However, I didn’t expect that type of experience coming from such an exclusive/ expensive & reputable group and as long as they hire such rude hosts ( I’ve noticed the majority of low ratings are re hosts), I will prefer to stay away!

Very good overall but we feel the recommendation of the white grouper did not perfectly fit our desired choice of preparation

Awful experience, very rude russian/easter european hostess at the entrance. She kept arguying that I did not have a reservation, when in fact I did.
Finally got a table, then after being seated, and ordering drinks, I was told I had to change tables, because that specific table was requested by someone else. Nobody apologised. Service was not good, food was okay but very overprices. I do not recommend this place at all. Dubai has so many better places than this sub-par restaurant.

GAIA is my favourite Restoran !!!! Food was amazing unforgettable delicious ???? staff , waiters , manager , all workers are very very professional !
Atmosphere was very very nice , good music , beautiful ???? design.

A lovely restaurant but the experience was ruined by a boorish and rude restaurant manager who doesn’t know a thing about customer service. Communication between staff members was also abysmal. Never going there again. And I normally never ding a restaurant in a review.

Great upscale Greek restaurant with a see-and-be-seen scene. Try their whole fish sea bream carpaccio, seafood orzo, and frozen Greek yogurt with walnuts and honey.

Quite a late review, but one of the best lunches I’ve had in long time. The food, presentation was impeccable. Service is nice.

Food was delicious, prefer the London location based on service and food. Service could of been a little warmer and more inviting.

Very nice place

I was at this restaurant yesterday, we closed the bill at $400 and I spent the whole night afterwards throwing up and with a stomach ache. When we were at the restaurant at the beginning, they served us a salad with soft and bitter cucumbers, I asked for it to be replaced and they did replace it. But apparently, the cucumbers I had already eaten were enough to cause food poisoning! This is absolutely unacceptable for an establishment of this level. Also, there were issues with the service - one of the waiters who served us barely spoke English, kept dropping everything, tried about 10 times to take away the dish I was eating, and initially gave me a dirty glass of water and didn’t even say SORRY. Also, I saw the bartender at the bar wiping glasses with an absolutely torn rag… do not recommend this place!

Grand amateur du Gaia Monaco, de passage à Dubaï nous avons tenté le coup est pas déçu les mêmes saveurs, merci pour l’accueil Arnaud accueillant à la touche de Dubaï, confort, service et passion. Merci à l’équipe. Merci pour cette expérience.

This restaurant is one of the best in Dubai. Food is fresh and delicious, gourmet style. Atmosphere and service impeccable. My favorite.

My boss from London came to visit and I decided to go for a lunch at Gaia to expose her to the Dubai food scene! I know very well Gaia Monte Carlo as I used to live there but first time trying the Dubai one.
We had a booking for the last seating at 14.45. I understand this is not ideal for the kitchen and the team but unfortunately we didn’t have the choice as we had a meeting just before.
The food was excellent, delicious, well presented. PERFECT.
The service was embarrassing.
No explanation on the menu, no up selling , no introduction from the waiter, not a smile.
We were rushed as the team wanted to finish their shift. Fine, I understand. They might be working long hours and might need to rest and get ready for the dinner service.
However a few mistakes happened and could have been avoided. We order a bottle of wine and then waiter came back to us and mentioned the price out loud of the bottle of wine to ensure we were aware. How embarrassing when you invite guests over.
We were confused so we asked the Sommelier why this happened, he then sighed openly on our face. I didn’t know what was going on.
Then we were eating our starters (half way) and the waiter came with clean plates to let us know he wanted to prepare us for our mains and basically clean the table. Once again very confused as we were only half way eating our starters. We felt so embarrassed and said yes sure but I think he understood he did it wrong.
Desserts have been preordered and were delicious.
Such a shame we didn’t enjoy our lunch as the food was exceptional and I really love Gaia.
Maybe we went on a bad day but for the pricing the service must be reviewed. However hostess and welcome, was faultless. Thanks to them

Poor service

Excellent restaurant, les produits sont tres frais et délicieux. Superbe ambiance, bel endroit. C’est cher mais très belle soirée. Surtout essayez le Frozen yogurt en dessert c’est incroyable.
