I hate to say this but it is one of the most disappointing stays for me personally. It started out by us arriving at the airport without someone waiting for us, even though we arranged for airport pick up a week ago.. after waiting for 20 minutes we had to call the hotel and spoke to 4 different people all asking for the same information until we talked to the manager - I believe his name is kareem - who asked us to go back inside and past airport security to get to their counter.. as everyone know this doesnt work but we tried and asked the security to let us pass and they refused. A respectable resort would send someone right away to pick up the guests and make sure to welcome them in a way that is fitting to Anantara’s reputation.
We arrived to the hotel and no acknowledgement of what happened what so ever..
as for the service, we’ve been here for three days now yet our room has only been clean once, the second day we had to call them to clean the room, the towels were kept the same and not changed.. no water has been provided. Third day we’ve been out of the resort from 9:00 a.m until 6:00 p.m. yet we come to the room and it hasn’t been cleaned yet!!!!!
Very disappointing and does not even live up to a portion of the Anantara brand name… we keep comparing it to the Layan resort in Phuket which was absolutely one of our best stays and this is why we chose to stay at Anantara mauritius .. however we were very disappointed and it’s such a shame because the resort and the location is absolutely perfect and breathtaking!

It's a beautiful place if you come for a holiday. The rooms are huge and spacious. The staff is nice as well. The food, there is not such a big variety, butI recomend the burger.

Dies ist wirklich ein Wundervolles Hotel eine Sehr Sehr Schöne Anlage die einiges zu Bieten hat ich Fühle mich hier wie auf Mauritius angekommen eine richtige schöne Ecke und der Strand vom Hotel ist auch sehr Schön.

Nous sommes actuellement en séjour, et dès le début, nous avons été séduits par l'accueil chaleureux de l'équipe. Océane, à la réception, nous a accueillis avec un sourire radieux et une grande disponibilité, rendant notre arrivée des plus agréables.

Cyntia, au bar, est un véritable rayon de soleil. Toujours souriante, accueillante et chaleureuse, elle sait parfaitement créer une ambiance conviviale et détendue.????????????????

Le chef cuisinier, bien que proposant un buffet varié, prend le temps de venir échanger avec les clients, ce qui est un geste très apprécié. Il est attentif à nos préférences et s'assure que tout le monde trouve son bonheur. Mention spéciale à la salade de poulpe, qui est tout simplement exceptionnelle et reste notre plat favori jusqu’à présent !

Nous continuons de savourer chaque moment dans cet établissement où l'attention portée aux clients est remarquable

Un séjour mémorable à l'Anantara Iko Mauritius !

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel à l'Anantara Iko Mauritius. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons bénéficié d'un early check-in, ce qui nous a permis de nous installer tranquillement dans notre superbe chambre. Une attention toute particulière a été portée à l'anniversaire de ma compagne, un geste que nous avons vraiment apprécié. Merci à Nicolas, qui a été aux petits soins avec nous tout au long de notre séjour.

Le personnel est incroyablement attentionné, et je tiens à saluer Kevin et Lorenzo du bar, qui ont été une compagnie formidable. Leurs cocktails étaient tout simplement excellents ! Un grand merci également à Gary pour son sens du service irréprochable au restaurant.

Il est vrai que l'hôtel est un peu éloigné des autres activités de l'île, mais avec une voiture de location, cela n'a posé aucun problème. Nous avons pu explorer l'île, faire le tour et découvrir les magnifiques paysages qu'elle a à offrir.

Un séjour parfait du début à la fin, nous reviendrons sans hésitation !

Outstanding Service Across the Board.
During our recent stay at Anantara, we were not only impressed by Ashvin's exceptional service by the pool but also by Nilanka from Horizon. Nilanka's amazing and genuine assistance added another layer of excellence to our experience. His helpfulness and authenticity were truly noteworthy. The combined efforts of Ashvin and Nilanka made our stay at Anantara outstanding. We highly recommend this resort for its stellar service and dedicated staff.

Wir hatten einen unglaublich tollen Aufenthalt - Wir fühlten uns wie zu Hause. Das Essen war sehr lecker! Der Kaffeeservice beim Frühstück lässt einem etwas in Geduld üben, da es sehr lange geht, bis man ihn erhält. Aber im Urlaub hat man ja Zeit. ☺️ Die Massagen sind sehr entspannend und das Zimmer war unglaublich schön! Auch am Strand & Pool haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alle Mitarbeiter sind äusserst freundlich und lassen den Aufenthalt zu einem Traumurlaub werden. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dahin zurückkehren!

They provide the worst possible Indian and Jain food you could taste. The Hotel and the destination is superb but the food really kills the vibe for people who are veg and especially Jain. I would not recommend you to come here if you are Veg and especially Jain.

5 Sterne sind es leider nicht. Ausstattung, Angebot und Service machen solide 4 Sterne. Ein zweiter Pool wird gerade gebaut, das ist auch notwendig, da der jetzige für die Zimmeranzahl einfach zu klein ist. Der Strand und das Meer sind super, allerdings gibt es seitens Hotel dort nur Plastikliegen (keine Schirme, Tischchen oder dergleichen). All Inclusive Package ist super. Auch das Essen egal ob Buffet oder A la Carte lässt keine Wünsche offen (allerdings auf 4*S und nicht 5* Sterne Niveau). Das Personal könnte ein bisschen freundlicher sein. Das Rezeptionsteam ist leider durchwegs unfähig. Dafür sind die Kellner allesamt super nett. Die Zimmer sind super geräumig, aber wenig Stauraum bzw. nicht durchdacht (keine Schubladen, keine Kommoden....). Wir waren fünf Nächte vor Ort und haben uns auf das Hotel eingestellt und eine tolle Zeit hier verbracht. Preis/Leistung passt!

Eine stylische kleinere Hotelanlage mit schönen Zimmern, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Sehr freundliches Personal, stets hilfsbereit.
Frühstücksbuffet qualitativ hochwertig. Abendessen hatten wir in den A-la-carte-Restaurants - auch sehr gut!
Absolutes Highlight jedoch ist der Strand! Goldener Sand, glasklares türkisfarbenes Wasser - einer der schönsten Strände, die ich kenne.
Einzige Unannehmlichkeit: Bei der Abreise wurde unser Shuttlebus zum Flughafen am Hotelgate länger aufgehalten und durfte erstmal nicht weiterfahren, weil nicht festzustellen war, ob wir bezahlt hätten??!! Da die Pförtnerin niemanden an der Rezeption erreichen konnte, zeigten wir unsere (Null-)Rechnung, aber ohne Erfolg - vielen Dank für das Vertrauen. Das ist eine Frechheit und ist mir noch nirgends passiert. Schade. Auf den letzten Metern so ein Patzer, daher ein Stern Abzug. Aber das sollte sich regeln lassen.

This hotel has some serious concerns which would need to resolved:

1) The food in the buffet and zafran are not upto the mark. Since last 5 days we’ve been trying to survive but reached our limits. We are eating the same food since last 3 days and if we try to order anything new, tte waiter says it’s finished, like penne pasta, samosa etc

2) The Indian food is very bland and not upto 5 star mark. Plus there are no other varieties.

3) birds everywhere during breakfast and all meals of the day. This is something absurd. Random birds flying in and eating food from buffet and on unattended guests table. Please this is a hotel and not “feeding with nature place.”

4) plus everything else is too far, we can’t go anywhere out except for any excursions . There are no shops/boutiques around in and out of the hotel.

5) there is no Conceirge service to help out about taxi or where to go to eat, shop etc.

6) there are stray cats and dogs. My wife is allergic to cats. Anytime we ask the waiter/staff to atleast take care of it or keep it away, they only smile and don’t do anything about it.

7) The presence of emirates staffs, shows that it’s a very commercial oriented property.

8) life guard not there/ not always there at the pool, and there is sign saying you are at your own risk.

9) for any service, we ask from our room. They take at least 45 mins to 1 hr to come.

10) Live band is not always there. If one has free or leisure day at the hotel, it would be quite boring.

We are surprised that this having 5 star hotel, it’s highly disappointing to not have good decent restaurants and services. Please take this seriously and make necessary changes as soon as possible.

Nous étions un groupe de 8 personnes et nous avons passé un séjour de 3 nuits dans cet hôtel :
- Personnellement la chambre est juste magnifique et très propre
- Le personnel est là pour le moindre de vos envies
- Nos dames ont adoré les massages du spa

J'ai une mention pour Paz et Chris qui se sont démenés pour répondre à nos exigences et au personnel du Kids Club avec qui nos enfants se sont amusés.

Personnel très gentil mais:
- musique insupportable sur la plage
- musique de mauvais goût et trop forte au bar
- ventilation des chambres extrêmement bruyante même quand la clim est coupée.
- literie inconfortable
- restaurant de qualité moyenne
- temps de service beaucoup trop long dans les restaurants et au bar
- connexion internet très faible
- le mini-bar n'est pas réapprovisionné

Sono molto in difficoltà nello scrivere questa recensione per il fatto che ci sono molti aspetti positivi ed altrettanti negativi e per questo motivo lo valuto nella media, premettendo che siamo clienti affezionati alla catena Anantara di cui siamo stati ospiti molte volte in molti paesi del mondo e pertanto abbiamo la possibilità di comparare questa struttura con quelle della stessa proprietà.
Andiamo con ordine : arriviamo dall'aeroporto e non troviamo nessuno ad attenderci e a ritirare i bagagli che vengono scaricati dall'autista e abbandonati all'ingresso, facciamo il check-in e ci avviamo con la receptionist alla nostra camera, scoprendo con piacere un upgrade ad un con accesso diretto alla spiaggia, upgrade gradito, che non ci è stato fatto minimamente notare, sminuendone il valore. Nel frattempo attendiamo la consegna delle valigie, uno dei miei parametri di valutazione è proprio il tempo che intercorre dall'arrivo in camera e la consegna dei bagagli; ebbene dopo due solleciti sono arrivati dopo quasi mezz'ora. 1* negativo
Camera comunque bella e in perfetto ordine, anche se poi nei giorni seguenti il servizio di rigoverno non è mai stato fatto in maniera impeccabile, ogni giorno mancava qualcosa, o gli asciugamani piccoli, o quelli grandi, o lo zucchero o un tappetino, insomma niente di grave ma mai fatta accuratamente. Camera 5*, servizio 2*
Positiva la ristorazione sia al BonManger, che all'Horizon , buona scelta e buona qualità anche nel buffet della colazione. Personale attento e professionale. Così come al bar 5*
Spiaggia ampia anche se sarebbe opportuno avere anche qualche ombrellone a disposizione, comunque bella posizione e molto tranquilla essendo riservata solo agli ospiti dell'hotel.
Veniamo adesso agli aspetti che ci hanno invece lasciati perplessi e riguardano tutti la reception e l'house keeping :
Una sera arriviamo in camera dopo la cena e troviamo il bagno allagato da acqua e schiuma che proveniva dallo scolo di drenaggio del locale WC, situazione non certo piacevole, ho dovuto chiamare 3 volte la reception prima che arrivasse, dopo almeno mezz'ora, qualcuno a pulire ed asciugare il pavimento dai liquidi che avrebbero potuto essere anche di acque sporche, a seguito delle mie chiamate inizialmente erano solo intervenuti sui drenaggi esterni che a loro volta emettevano liquidi. Housekeeping 1*
Arriviamo alla partenza : già dal giorno precedente ho chiesto conferma per l'orario del transfer, ho parlato a più riprese con 4 persone diverse che dopo aver brancolato nel buio alla ricerca della prenotazione e fatto diverse telefonate, alla fine l'ultima interlocutrice mi dà la conferma. Nell'avvicinarsi dell'ora prevista incomincio a chiamare la reception per far ritirare i bagagli, dopo 3 telefonate e 20 minuti d'attesa, non vedendo nessuno, insieme a mia moglie ci trasciniamo le borse verso l'ingresso, convinti di trovare la nostra auto.
Solo quel punto scopriamo, che contrariamente a quanto confermato in mattinata, la vettura sarebbe arrivata solo dopo un'ora, cosa di cui avrebbero dovuto perlomeno avvisarci, per poterci eventualmente organizzare in maniera diversa.
Per fortuna è intervenuto il direttore generale, che avendomi visto piuttosto indispettito, si è offerto di accompagnarci personalmente in aeroporto, cosa che ha fatto e di cui lo ringrazio, come lo ringrazio per aver accolto le mie rimostranze sul servizio. 1* alla reception e 5* al signor Pascal Bertrand .
Concludendo : Location eccellente così come le camere, ristorazione eccellente , reception e servizi generale bocciati totalmente. Peccato !

In short our stay at this hotel was fantastic!!!

The culinary experience was a highlight. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Each meal felt like a culinary adventure.The flavors and quality of the dishes were outstanding. We especially loved the Indian and the pastry section.

The true marvel, however, was the beach and the mesmerizing color of the ocean and the waves.

The variety of activities was also impressive. (Snorkeling, walks, biking, archery and so much more)

The hotel's location, nestled between the beach and the forest, made it a dream destination for nature enthusiasts like us.

The hotel's setting created the perfect atmosphere for a romantic and rejuvenating escape. The combination of natural beauty, the friendly staff, and the wealth of activities made our stay unforgettable. We're already looking forward to our next visit, as we couldn't have asked for a more perfect getaway.

Nowy, komfortowy kompleks hotelowy.
Duży, zadbany ogród nad uroczą zatoką. Dluga,
piaszczysta, czysta plaża.
Bardzo dobre, zróżnicowane śniadania. Restauracja,
gdzie podawane są positki, ma taras z widokiem na
morze
Personel pomocny, sympatyczny:
Pokoje duże, wygodnie i elegancko urządzone.
Bardzo funkcjonalne łazienki- oddzielony zarówno
prysznic jak i toaleta.
Cicho, spokojnie, widok z pokoju na morze lub na
Ogród.
Duży, bezpłatny parking - kluczyki od auta można
zostawić w recepcji i obsługa odstawia auto na
parking.
Na terenie kompleksu dostępne dwie restauracje a'la
carte-jedna hinduska, druga że zdrową żywnością-
konieczna jest rezerwacja stolika dzień wcześniej.
Do 18:30 możliwe jest zamówienie jedzenia w bar,e
przy basenie (później tylko drinki). Jeżeli mamy
opcję BB i nie zdążymy zjesc w barze, nie zamówimy
stolika to zostaje opcja room serwisu (niewiele
droższa niż restauracja) - dostępna całą dobe
