Hotel Belleclaire is the reason we go to NYC. My kids love it, the staff is exceptional and the location unmatched. We used to live in NYC and now when we go back we head to the Belleclaire where we are usually welcomed by Maria and Shanier, who are both exceptional. Any issues we have Michael solves and always makes us feel special. Last time we were there one of my kids spilled an excessive amount of liquid at night and Johan from the cleaning staff was so incredible that it prompted me to write this review. I can't say enough good things about this Hotel. In a city with lots of choices Hotel Belleclaire is at the top.

We stayed for a night in a premium king room. While yes, it's pricey, the location can't be beat. The room itself was nice and spacious, and felt very clean. The bed was comfy. The hvac unit is easy to control and actually is very quiet! Hard to notice it's on - if you like using the room hvac as white noise, you won't be able to do that here!

As we were on the 9th floor, traffic noise was minimal (and the room window is quite small). However, it is very easy to hear people from other rooms or the hallway - bring earplugs if this bothers you!

The coupons for breakfast were a nice touch. The cafe attached to the hotel has great pastries!

As a side note, the elevators are VERY small - if you're claustrophobic, I'd highly recommend asking for a lower floor and taking the stairs!

Service from JV and Veronica was outstanding. They went above and beyond to ensure myself and my wife enjoyed our stay.

מלון טוב על רחוב ברודווי - סמוך למוזיאון הטבע באפר ווסט סייד. המלון מתוחזק מצויין כולל החדר המסדרונות והלובי. החדרים קטנים יחסית כיאה למנהטן. לובי קטן ומזמין - בערב נפתח שם בר. נותנים שוברים של 10 דולר לאדם ליום לארוחה בבית קפה או מסעדה סמוכים. השירות מצויין!! דאגו מייד לכל מה שביקשנו, כולל החלפת חדר, תוספת מגבות, מגהץ, כסא נוסף וכמובן סייעו עם פתיחת החדר בשבת.. ורוניקה בקבלה פשוט מקסימה ונעימה נתנה הרגשה מעולה ותמיד שמחה לעזור. מומלץ!!

I paid to have breakfast included but what I received were coupons for 10 dollars/person to order at the bakery at the hotel entrance. The bakery had a slow service and arrogant employees. There is no table and they don't even offer cutlery. The ridiculousness was such that they refused to slice the bread we bought and only offered plastic knives. I feel deceived by the hotel. If I had known, I would never have asked for this bad service. I was forced to stay 20-30 minutes to be served poorly and go to my room to eat. Very bad!

Great location and decent amenities (nice king bed and bathroom but no sofa or quiet lobby or lounge)

But the deal breaker in this modern age is WORST WIFI I’VE EXPERIENCED IN A DECADE. HALF THE TIME JUST USED MY IPHONE AS A HOTSPOT

Très bon séjour en famille à l'hôtel Belleclaire.
Le personnel à l'accueil très agréable, serviable, toujours le sourire.
Le hall d'entrée, les couloirs très clean.
Nous étions 4 dans la chambre, nous passions peu de temps dans la chambre c'était assez ☺️
Nous avons la chance d'avoir notre chambre qui donnait sur l'avenue de Broadway ????
La literie très confortable.
Salle de bain avec WC correcte. Produits et nécessaire de toilette mis à disposition.
L'accès au métro est à 2min et bien desservi pour se rendre à Times Square ou dans le lower Manhattan ????
Le système du p'tit déj pourrait peut-être être amélioré. Que l'on soit 2 ou 4 personnes par chambre les tickets sont limités à 2.
La boulangerie au pied de l'hôtel est elle aussi très agréable. Du personnel accueillant et souriant également. En 7 jours nous avons pu goûter à beaucoup de viennoiseries ????
Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

The room I was staying was odd shaped and I had anxiety trying to navigate through the room.

The staff are awesome. Especially the person that greets you. I forgot his name. But he such an amazing person. He has awesome energy.

Huge s/o to Shanies! I called ahead of my reservation asking if the room we booked had a microwave & it didn’t but upgraded our room to a family suite, which would have a microwave + fridge. I was not expecting that level of kindness! Our room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. Subways, local restaurants, grocery and convenience stores were only a walk away! We’ll definitely be coming back ???? Thanks for checking us out swiftly & donating our blankets, Mariah!

Love this charming hotel. History! Clean rooms. Love the location. The restaurant is delicious. We stayed in room 404. I believe there is a resident that smokes weed next door. Or on that wing. It smells like skunk and the management told me it was carpet chemicals. Come on?! It didn't smell in the other parts of the hotel. I ended up with a bad reaction to the smell. My nose is running and I have a cough. Don't ask for room 404.
The showers are awesome...

Nice boutique hotel on upper west side, close to park, metropolitan opera and beacon theater. Staff is pleasant and welcoming.
