Residence Inn has become my preferred hotel chain, and this particular establishment lived up to my expectations. Situated in the heart of Times Square, our room on the 28th floor provided a stunning view of the New York skyline. The rooms, notably spacious compared to others in the area, had a pretty cozy ambiance.

Loved the central location because you can take breaks at the hotel while doing all the sightseeing. The area feels safe, full of dining and entertainment options.

The staff is super welcoming and nice, I loved that too. I arrived in the morning and the guys at the reception immediately made my day so much better. Even people working at the 3rd floor breakfast place are happy to answer questions.

The room is so comfy I almost didn't want to leave it because it already had great views of the city that I could watch for hours.

The only downside is that the elevators are very busy around 9-10am, so just take the stairs to save time. Both the 3rd floor breakfast area and each guest floor have stairs available.

Just like others mentioned, the noise from the elevators might be a bit distracting during the night, but I had no problems with it because I was playing white noise on my phone and so it didn't disturb me.

Hôtel très très bien situé en plein cœur du centre-ville, time square, broadway, l'empire state building, siège de l'onu non loin... de notre chambre, on avait la vue sur l'empire state building jour et nuit, un kif. Le métro à côté, franchement top top, je recommande cet hôtel, bcp de restaurants et commerces à proximité.

- Bon hôtel. Personnel très accueillant et serviable.
- Emplacement idéal.
- Chambres confortables et propres.
Nous avons apprécié la literie même si le divan-lit lit aurait pu être plus douillet.
- Seuls petits bémols: temps d'attente important aux heures de pointe pour emprunter les ascenseurs et pas assez de tables pour le petit-déjeuner par rapport au nombre de clients, d'où une certaine difficulté à trouver des places (surtout si on est plus de 2). Les petits- petits-déjeuners pourraient être un peu plus variés pour les gens séjournant longtemps.

Cela ne nous a toutefois pas du tout empêché de passer un excellent séjour.

Excelente el desayuno. El personal en general, muy amable. La habitación muy cómoda. Buena ubicación, el subte enfrente. A pocos metros hay un Whole Food Market. A una cuadra de Bryant Park. Mención aparte para el señor Lino de Recepción, muy amable, que nos ayudó en todo. También el señor Tito, del desayunador y el señor Alex de mantenimiento de ascensores. Los demás, también muy serviciales, pero no recordamos el nombre, lo mismo que las señoras del servicio de habitación.

Fantastic place to stay. Awesome location to Broadway, Times Square, Rockefeller Center and everything you want to do. Sergio at the front desk is wonderful and so welcoming! Spacious, clean rooms with friendly staff.

Great location and large rooms relative to other hotels near Times Square. Breakfast was great with a lot of options and the staff was welcoming and helpful at every encounter. The rooms are a little dated, but the location and staff make up for that.

The room was great with a kitchen but bathroom was small and the layout was a little strange with the two beds facing each other and lots of wasted space in the bathroom. And...Times Square is in the name and technically, it probably is in the boundary of Times Square, you had to walk several blocks to get to the heart of Times Square. The service was fantastic. The breakfast was worth any shortcomings elsewhere. Yummy and sooo many food choices. Our room had a view of the Empire State Building, which was great but that is it, no other activity at all.

Very friendly staff, and such a great location, super close to Times Square, subway stops, tons of restaurants, etc.

Biggest complaints - the floors are so small as to make it so that most rooms are relatively close to the elevators. This was pretty disappointing as someone who prefers not to be next to those. Also, my shower head had a pretty significant leak from the shower head threads. I shouldn't have to be the one to tell maintenance to fix that - housekeeping should report things like that so that customers never notice it. Lastly, the phone system has apparently recently been reprogrammed, so using it as the instructions indicate mean that it appears as though the entire staff is ignoring calls, when in fact, they're just not getting them at all.

The only thing great about this hotel was the service/location. Staff were friendly, and helpful.
Located centrally and near everything we needed.

Room HORRIBLE bugs all over the counters!!!
Was told they would spray and we came back 8hrs later and the bugs were everywhere on the counters my daughters were upset!
Went back down they said I could move rooms which we did. However we had no help moving rooms and moving 3 people after unpacking was a pain. I was told management would reach out and offer my points or something for the inconvenience. Sadly no one responded back and that was unfortunate. I always stay with Marriott and am a gold level member. I was also not thanked for being a gold member which is custom for Marriott’s.
Lastly this hotel definitely needs an UPGRADE it’s extremely dated and wore out.
The bar area was soooo dirty glasses everywhere!

It is a nice hotel with perfect value for money.

Special thanks to Sergio from the lobby reception team. We told him that our parents arrived to visit us in the US (it was the first time in the US for them) to see their grandson for the first time. He promptly disappeared and brought us a baby bodysuit as a present for our baby boy. It was so nice of him!!! Thank you, Sergio!!!

The only problem was that we didn't have water for breakfast, which could disappoint a lot of people. It wasn't a big deal for us though.

Je ne comprends pas les derniers avis, l hôtel est vraiment bien, le personnel est adorable, les chambres sont propres, le petit déjeuner est vraiment bien (salé,sucré ect..)
Franchement je vous conseille vraiment d’y allez !

This is my second time staying at the Residence Inn/Times Square and it once again exceeded all expectations. We spent two nights and had two rooms. Both rooms were clean, spacious and appointed well. We arrived early for check in and were immediately able to be accommodated which was a great surprise and very much appreciated. The front desk staff was on point our entire stay. The breakfast buffet was substantial and tasty. And this hotel is the perfect location for sightseeing all over the city. Walking distance to so much and centrally located between several key subway stops. This will always be my go-to hotel for my NYC stays. Thank you to the staff for a pleasant experience!
