Bonci is one of the few places I actually queued for while in Rome (this is to say it was esteemed in my mind and deemed worth the wait!) the queuing system is managed quite well (take a ticket) and the staff are nice. That said it’s a tiny space and it’s entirely tourists which made it pretty hectic and not super fun to wait around, especially on a solo trip! I ordered two “small” bits of pizza which were both still actually massive. The sausage and potato pizza was my favourite (it was hard to know what I was eating as pizza not labelled very clearly). I would say this place is good and worth a try if you have time but not the best pizza I had in Rome and it is actually pretty expensive - I spent nearly 20th Ross (meanwhile Trieste in Monti is great and cheaper). I also had to eat it on a nearby bollard due to the busyness and no nearby parks :’)

First of all - it’s really not in the center or close to anything. Rough neighborhood with a lot of trash directly outside the shop.
It took us 50 min just to place the order and I had 19 numbers ahead of me. I even went in an “tried” to pre-select what i would want to have, but when the time came non of the pizzas i was thinking of were available. So i just picked random ones of the ones available.
It’s quite expensive and you buy them by weight. Even if you ask for smaller piece they kind of don’t listen/care and you end up with the size they give you. The pizza is nice. Not the best and nothing like the hype people are giving it.
No place to sit and dine and the soft drinks is like a fake version of Coca Cola for the same price.
Probably my first and only visit.
30€ (excluded drinks) is what i paid for 8 small pieces.

Pointless number system that doesn't work. Dirtiest area of Rome, stench of urine and cigarettes coming from the streets around kill any appetite, do not bother getting here.

Deludente. Avevo sentito tanto parlare di Bonci ma non ne è valsa la pena. La pizza buona ma niente che ti fa dire wow…servizio abbastanza efficiente anche se abbiamo fatto un po’ di coda ma data la notorietà del proprietario ci sta.
La cosa più brutta è proprio il locale: mal tenuto, non molto pulito e senza nemmeno un tavolo…in una zona di Roma non proprio bella

Dobre jedzenie, ale nie na poziomie swojej sławy. Pizza sprzedawana na wage, mozna poprosic o małe kawałki, a spróbować wiecej rodzajów. Gdybym stał w kolejce, która tam była jak odbierałem zamówienie, to bym się na koniec zawiódł. Nic specjalnego ale dobre.

Rispetto e stimo il prodotto. Personalmente 30€ mi sembrano un po’ troppi per una pizza al taglio senza neanche la possibilità di avere un tavolino dove mangiarla.

Take-away spot with incredible pizza and suppli. This last one with carbonara is simply delicious! Lots of different options, pricewise is not cheap but it deserves a detour.

The food is very good and there are unique options, but for me personally a bit of seasoning was missing. Also there are no sits outside so maybe you will not have a place to sit. Overall I do recommend to go if you are in the area

Incredible Nostri Fritti (we had 'nduja and Mozzarella, wagyu, and carbonara), and a huge selection of pizza by weight (we had spicy tomato, 'nduja and mushroom, artichoke, and zucchini flower with anchovy). It's just a short walk from the Vatican, absolutely worth it! It was a little spendy, but we did get way too much food-when the pizza looks that incredible, we couldn't help but keep adding more to our order
No seating, but there are standing tables outside.

Non ci siamo, i prezzi sono troppo alti per quello che si ha. Si mangia in piedi se si riesce a trovare il banchetto libero. Noi abbiamo trovato libero il piano per appoggiare il vassoio fuori, con alle spalle i cassonetti dell immondizia, che per carità, sono comodi per buttare i tovagliolini ma veramente poco consoni per mangiarci vicino. Diciamo la verità quello che si paga è il nome e va bene, si può provare per dire di averlo fatto ma non lo consiglierei.

It’s not cheap, there’s a line, and there’s plenty of people here because of the late and great Bourdain.

But the pizza was DELICIOUS. Great inventive combinations. The scrambled egg, artichoke and rosemary was the highlight for me.

For takeaway pizza, take a ticket, wait for your number to be called on the sign inside. Order your slice(s) by weight. They’ll heat it up for you if you like. Soft and alcoholic beverages available whilst you wait.

The pizza at this place is way overpriced for what you get. I expected more considering the cost. The quality was just average, nothing exceptional. The toppings were sparse, and the crust was nothing to write home about. Overall, I left feeling disappointed and like I had wasted my money. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for value or quality. There are definitely better options out there where you can get a much better pizza for your money.

C est drole...ou si les forums'nous disent d aller la bas
Les gens nous parlé de cette petite boutique pizza ou on coupe au ciseau la part de la pizza souhaitée...mais c est loin, pas un banc pour la déguster après dans un quartier pas terrible...alors oui, elles sont bonnes mais ça ne vaut pas le détour

Concept intéressant. Pizzas au kilo. On choisi la longueur de la pizza que l on souhaite puis au poids. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et orientés dans nos choix par un serveur qui parlait français. Manger à emporter. Peu de tables et debout. Pizzas totalement différentes de celles que l'on a l'habitude de trouver en France. Pâte réellement de type pain. Le moins, le bruit. Musique particulièrement forte mais comme on ne mange pas.sur place, celà n'a pas été gênant. Intéressant pour manger sur le pouce quand on est dans le coin.
