Excelente hotel. Servicio de calidad, agradable estancia con habitaciones acogedoras. La ubicación es excelente, a menos de 5 minutos caminando de la plaza principal de Trastevere. Empleados muy serviciales. Repetiría sin duda!

In total we enjoyed our stay at the hotel San Francesco in Trastevere! It’s very good located, very close to the train station and in the middle of Trastevere. Ist also easy to get there from the airport. The service was very nice. We recognized, that our fridge in the room was not working, so they put our bottle of wine in their fridge without asking. It’s just that in the night we could here the water running through the pipes in the wall, which is not very nice, if you don’t sleep well. That’s why I have to give 4 stars out of 5.

Okay, but i wouldn’t stay there again. Fridge didn’t work in the room, my husband needed it for his medication. The staff was friendly, especially the restaurant bar/coffee. Front desk staff was slightly dismissive - and not the best with restaurant recommendations. the view from our room was onto an inner courtyard which was nice.

Its an okay location - but its a little out of the way. The dining room was well decorated and comfortable, the breakfast was good.

We stopped for a quick drink at the bar and both the coffee and service were just great!

Silvia recommended us a few spots nearby to go to, as well as some other non-typical places in Rome. Loved it!

Wonderful, attentive staff who made us feel very welcomed, clean basic rooms in a great location. Only knocked off a star as the room was very noisy at night time but other than that, a good experience!

Calidad precio muy buena. Está situado en el barrio de Trastevere, un barrio a 20-30 minutos andando del centro de Roma, con buenos restaurantes y bares. Las habitaciones son básicas, sin echar en falta nada. Las instalaciones nos gustaron mucho y la recepción está abierta 24 horas, lo que ayuda para cualquier petición o duda. Muy recomendable.

My husband and I loved this Hotel, very well centered near to a carrefour, to bridges, several incredible restaurants, taxis are always quick to pick you up.
Despite Trastevere being very busy and noisy, the Hotel it's very quiet for your night of sleep.
The staff is one of the best I've seen in a hotel, really caring and they all speak english very well, which helps a lot.
Restaurant and bar is 5/5!
The view from the top terrace is a very nice plus, sadly the bar up there only opens service on spring and summer time (we were there in winter).
They also allow you to leave your luggage at the lobby free of charge, amazing!
Overall 5/5 experience will definitely come back.

We had such a great experience at the hotel San Francesco. The staff is lovely and friendly, location is very good, plenty of restaurants and bars. It’s 25 minutes walk to tourists attractions. The traffic is chaotic so it’s good to walk around to get to those places.

The room was cleaned and organised everyday with no request. Very good service. There’s a restaurant/cocktail bar attached to the hotel, a bit expensive but good service, we stayed for a couple of drinks because it was pouring rain outside.

I’d recommend this hotel.

An utterly awful experience. We booked this place for two nights on the 30th of November and 1st of December 2023. On the second night of our stay, we returned to our room in the evening to find out that all our belongings were gone. We immediately went to the reception to inquire about what had happened and the whereabouts of our belongings. The receptionist appeared baffled and stated they were unaware of the situation. They also mentioned that the hotel does not employ any housekeepers directly; instead, cleaning services are outsourced to an external company, and they did not have the contact details for this company. We were told we would have to wait until the morning for the manager and the cleaning company to arrive and address the issue. Consequently, we had to spend the night in the clothes we had worn all day while exploring Rome.

The next morning, the manager was nowhere to be found, and it was only after 9:00 a.m. that we were informed our belongings had been returned to our room. We found two plastic bags containing our items on the floor, only to discover that a new, unopened perfume was missing. We always leave 10Eur /per day in the room for the housekeeper as they are usually on a low salary. They took the money and the perfume too :( Upon requesting compensation for the stolen perfume, the receptionist insisted that approval from the hotel manager was necessary. As we were leaving the establishment (which I hesitate to call a hotel), we were left with the strong impression that once we departed, no effort on the side of the hotel will be made to resolve this issue by refunding us for the ruined night or compensate us for the stolen perfume. Sadly, this feeling proved to be accurate. Overall, it was an utterly awful experience.

Our stay at Hotel San Francesco was an absolute delight and an experience we won't soon forget. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and exceptional hospitality. The staff deserves special recognition (shout out to Nicole)! Their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine friendliness went above and beyond our expectations. From offering valuable local tips to the housekeeping staff ensuring the room was always immaculate, every interaction was marked by their dedication to providing top-notch service. Location-wise, it couldn't have been better situated. Its proximity to key attractions made it incredibly convenient for exploring the city while ALSO (and more importantly for us!) providing a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. Our stay was amazing and we can't wait to be back in the future!

Overall a good place to stay in Trastevere! It is pretty much as described - a 3 star hotel in a great location. We had an issue with our room the first night however to the staff’s credit they resolved the issue and moved us to a nicer room which we greatly appreciated.

Location is really great, we easily were able to walk to dinner, the colosseum, pantheon, vatican etc.

Rooms were pretty nice however the beds are not that comfortable, but we were satisfied overall. The only thing we really didn’t like is the that the hotel requires you to leave your room key at the front desk every time you leave for security reasons.

We would stay here again.
