In der Hauptstraße von Sparta bietet dieses kleine, unprätentiöse Restaurant eine schmackhafte Küche und verfügt über einen kleinen Innengarten mit Plastikstühlen, der schön ruhig ist. Das mit frischem Gemüse (grüne Bohnen, Auberginen) gekochte Schweinefleisch ist ausgezeichnet, ebenso wie das im Ofen gebratene Schweinefleisch mit Kartoffeln, das Lammfleisch mit Zitronensoße und frischem Oregano, die gedünsteten Fleischbällchen und das einheimische Hühnchen mit Käse und Zwiebeln. Auch die Lammkoteletts sind sehr gut! Der Empfang ist charmant und die Preise sind moderat.

I've brought my family here, and they share my sentiment – we long to come back to Diethnes, where the heart of Greece beats in every dish, and the Spartan spirit lives on.
