The rooms were very clean as was the hotel in general. The staff was very friendly and courteous.
There's a cafe on the main level where guest can get coffee (no charge), coffee is available in the rooms as well.
Breakfast is served by leaving a basket per person in by the room door in the morning. It's continental breakfast with fresh Juice, yogurt and either a baguette or croissant. It was excellent and plenty to fill you up.
Beds were comfortable and I slept well all 3 nights.
Parking is a lot that is about 2 blocks away, easy to get to and cost ~CA$32/per day.
Hotel is in good spot to wonder the Old Montreal with lots of restaurants on St. Paul.
The one odd thing about the hotel is the bathroom doors, they have frosted glass which doesn't give you a ton of privacy. Not sure why an interior designer would think that was a good idea.
Other than that I don't think you can go wrong here.
Such a good location close to all the popular restaurants, tourist attractions. We were able to leave the car parked and were able to walk and explore.
The room is clean and so is the lounge. Inviting space.
We paid $70-80 for 2 days parking and were able to take the car in and out. There is a complementary drink and breakfast available.
My wife and I stayed here and were incredibly happy with our experience. The hotel and our room were exceptionally clean and the location was amazing, right in the heart of Old Montreal. The staff was also very kind and courteous throughout our stay. I would definitely book here again
From check in to check out (and beyond) this place is sure to make you feel all groovy and smiley, I promise. My hubby and I visited to celebrate our anniversary and my upcoming birthday. We were greeted by the most hospitable folks who went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay. We had treats waiting for us, and were even gifted a small treat when we checked out. I am going to assume the woman who has short blonde hair and a contagious smile is the manager, and she really deserves kudos for making our visit so wonderful. Another all star we met with was Charlie (I believe this was her name) again, charming and inviting! The decor of the floors was super cool, the room felt like a personal museum, overall cleanliness was impeccable and the breakfast was some of the best, by taste and thoughtfulness, I've ever had. I cannot wait for our next visit to Montreal because I cannot wait to see what room we get next. Our future stays will continue to be with Hotel Uville, and yours should be too.
Overall, if you're looking for a beautiful, friendly, hospitable and delicious (cafe, bar and breakfast) hotel then consider your search complete.
Great service from everyone in the hotel. The room was funky and was decorated for my birthday. Thomas welcomed us to the hotel and explained everything to us about our stay in an informative and pleasant manner! An amazing place to stay whilst in MTL.
For anyone visiting Montreal, this is your hotel! You will not be disappointed. The staff is courteous and the hotel is beautiful. It has everything you need. Breakfast is left at your door, for you to enjoy at your convenience. The location couldn't be better. It's walking distance to shops and restaurants. 10/10
We loved our stay in trendy hotel Uville, from our easy check in ( I believe her name was Emma, friendly bilingual service) to the very conviennent breakfast at your door. Our little Daschund also loved as there was a bowl and treat for her. It’s in a great location and we discovered a great bakery near by for lunch ( l’amour du pain). Lots to do around there with great dinning options. Would definitely stay there again or even try one of there sister hotels near by.
I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It is the most unique hotel I have ever stayed. It is part museum, part boutique hotel and part B&B. I loved that each room is different, and the theme is 60-70's Montreal. Our room was about the Jewish delis and smoked meats. We used the turntable every day of our stay, and my husband and I were dancing to the music. We loved the breakfast delivered each day. Location is perfect for all things in Old Montreal.
We have stayed here 3 times and loved it every time. The deluxe king is an amazing room and depending on the time of year, can be an awesome price for what you get. Right off the bat you are greeted by a well thought out theme and design, the lobby is adorable with a cute café and bar. Board games to play when it’s cold out and you just want a night in. The room is so cute, retro decor and a record player that works with multiple classics from the era. The hotel is a museum for expo 67 and the rooms all have different pieces, music and art. Contrary to other reviews, I’ve never found the room small, it’s spacious for old Montreal in an older building, we’ve stayed in multiple rooms and liked each for their own reason. There is a Bluetooth speaker and record player, chromecast on the tv, new and well working AC/Heat, and a keurig. The bathroom is lovely, great shower. The breakfast has always been good but the light upgrades made this time were lovely. It’s pretty cool to have a cute little breakfast basket outside and ready for breakfast in bed. The hotel is right in old Montreal, so location is amazing. Lots around to do and see. Definitely would recommend winter boots in the winter months. Never had a bad experience with the staff and are very accommodating, friendly and someone is there 24/7. Definitely will make the effort to stay again.
Third time staying at this hotel and it was a great experience as always! The location is fantastic, the staff are kind, and the hotel decor/theme is unique. The breakfast in bed every morning is a treat and they have made some recent upgrades with cold pressed juice, specialty yogurts and high quality baked goods, which were delicious. The rooms are well equipped with nice bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Everything is clean and updated. We look forward to returning!
A very cool hotel celebrating the 60s and 70s Montreal. The staff were welcoming, helpful and gave great recommendations. I like that the rooms were not carpeted and the beds were nice and firm. I'd definitely stay here again.
A very nice hotel with 60s/70s theme decor.

The lobby cafe was so nice to grab a hot chocolate or latte, morning or evening.
Rooms were super cute and eclectic, felt much cooler than your average hotel room! Overall the experience was unique and memorable ????
I recommend visiting the archaeology museum as it is literally right next door.
