Super endroit, proprio sympathique, a découvrir

The service here is excellent and made an ordinary stay an exceptional one. They were so kind in allowing me flexibility with checkout and the option to leave my bags in the room and food in the fridge well past 1pm due to the room being unoccupied the following night. I found the room to be comfortable, with water, little chocolates and coffee/tea. It had everything I needed to sleep and work and was so conveniently located - just 3 minutes from the 747 bus to the airport. Would definitely stay here again.

Nous avons adoré! Excellent service, accueil très chaleureux, emplacement idéal, très belle chambre, hyper tranquille, on ne pouvait pas demander mieux. L'option stationnement nous a sauvé bien du trouble. C'est certain que nous y retournerons. C'est parfait!

J'ai passé 2 nuits à ce très petit hôtel et j'ai tout simplement adoré. Le propriétaire est super sympatique et m'a surclassé dans la suite comme c'était tranquille. Parlant de tranquille, je ne me rappelle pas avoir aussi bien dormi depuis longtemps. C'est vraiment très tranquille. L'architecture intérieure est de toute beauté. Tout était très propre. Je recommande chaudement.

Spent three nights and really loved staying here. Very spacious room with warm, cozy decor and gleaming hardwood. Felt like my own little bachelor pad in this characterful building.
Location is fantastic - right on a vibrant street with lots of activity, pubs and so many really great restaurant options. The solid windows and blinds really kept it nice and quiet for sleeping.
Will def stay here again!!

Very comfortable room for my brief stay. Clean and spacious. Friendly and helpful service! Parking very close at Indigo around the corner. I hope to stay here again on my next trip to Montreal.

There were some roadworks which make accessing the hotel a little frustrating right now but the staff did their absolute best to explain and once we got there the room was lovely, quiet and clean and in a great location. Staff were very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Check-in was easy, friendly and accommodations were clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed a quick stay in the city - close to good food and entertainment venues on St. Denis and Ste Catherine. Our host was great, parking is close-by and easy to find & easy to use with your room (unlimited use if you need it, which we didn't). The balcony view was definitely an unexpected bonus.

We had a fantastic stay here! Circus fest was happening on the street right outside our room and we could watch from the balcony. Lots of great restaurants right outside the door, and only a 20 min walk or metro ride to anywhere you would want to go.
The room was spotless and the linens fresh. 100% will stay here again. Sending Thanks to Albert, the host with the most!

Nice little boutique hotel. Located in the Latin Quarter. Charming hotel, great staff, superb location. I will be back

Positives: This charming boutique hotel's best feature is Albert at reception who makes you feel very welcome. The room was beautiful with a comfortable bed (note: feather pillows only), small sitting room and a large window you can open to take in the sights and sounds of the busy street below. The location is ideal with close Metro access and for visiting the Latin Quarter, and the front door is always locked. Free parking is included at a nearby parking garage with in/out privileges.
Negatives:
- In case it's missed from other reviews, this is not an accessible hotel (no lift) and access to the hotel requires ascending a staircase and then access to rooms requires ascending another steep/narrow staircase which can be a challenge with luggage, and tiring after a long day of exploring the streets. We are generally fit so it wasn't a major problem.
- Continental breakfast is only offered on weekends. They do offer coupons for a nearby bagel place during the week, but we came for the patisseries and boulangeries so we only had bagels one day.
- Noise was expected due to it being a lively street with lots of foot traffic, and bars and restaurants open late into the evening, and it did get loud at night which can be quite festive (there was a drum band marching by one day - bring earplugs if you prefer quiet), but the jackhammers from the major construction site at the intersection nearest the hotel were most unpleasant and start at 8am promptly (June 2023). If you care to sleep past 8 I would stay elsewhere until the construction project is finished. This is not the hotel's fault, of course, but it should be known before booking.
True to form of the unfailingly polite Canadians, street noise ceases promptly with closure of restaurants so there aren't sounds of loud partying all night long.

If you're ok with hustle and bustle, fit enough for stairs and are looking for an off-the-beaten path stay that feels like renting someone's small flat instead of generic chain hotel lodging, I recommend Les Relais Lyonnais.

Historic building with a handful of rooms in a great, vibrant section of Montreal. I had a spacious suite with a bedroom, bathroom, sitting room, and back terrace on the top floor. Very spacious, clean, and quiet after the dinner hour. The host was very friendly; interested in my visit and well-being. Rooms were cleaned every day in the early afternoon.

Excellent! The rooms were beautiful and had a very convenient, lively, location. The very friendly staff gave info on good local restaurants, tickets for for breakfast every morning, and extremely convenient paid parking.

Es un horrible lugar, dónde discriminan e insultan a sus huéspedes

Horrible servicio a la clientela, ponen a una mujer de origen mexicano en una habitación con 5 hombres. En el baño no pueden tener privacidad, ya que el seguro de la puerta no sirve. La mujer de origen mexicano fue agredida físicamente por un hombre de la habitación.

Hotel que no apoya a las denuncias de acosadores que se encuentran hospedados ahí mismo
