Excelente ubicación, por el precio no puede pedirse mucho más. Los baños estaban limpios, al igual que las duchas, siempre estaban desocupados. Para ir de paso a Londres está muy bien. No estuve en las áreas sociales, por decir algo al llegar tuve que dejar un depósito de 5 libras en efectivo y tuve q ir a una casa de cambio cuando en todo Londres no necesité efectivo para absolutamente nada, las almohadas son un poco incómodas y las literas al estar al descubierto carecen de privacidad, pero en mi caso solo iba a dormir así que no tuvo mucha importancia. Repetiría. Si sabes inglés y eres sociable hay buen ambiente de fiesta allí.

I enjoyed my stay here. Safe for a female solo traveler. Clean facility. Bed was good for a hostel. 2 close tube stations and 1 bus stop on the block. Only critique is that I had to pay for a towel. I wish they were included in the rate.

WATCH YOUR BACK. I booked this place direct, I chose it because the room was £18 a night during their kitchen renovation and that was a good deal. My reservation confirmation did not include the price, I was never given a receipt and come to find out, they charged me £70 total for two nights, and of course there's no way for me to prove I booked at a lower rate. Emailed and they condescended saying "its probably your currency exchange rate." Its not. So, I paid above average hostel rates for a room in a noisy place with NO kitchen and ONE toilet for every floor. Also, the key card deposit becomes non-refundable if you don't have cash.

worst hostel ever. please avoid. half their rooms are located in a seperate building which doesnt have a common room, and have either a single toilet or a single shower per FLOOR. and i am sure the building itself is full of fire code violations. conjested stairwells and extinguishers used as door stops. i am suprised this service is allowed to run

Experiencia horrible !!! Teníamos una reserva de 2 cama para 3 noches. Nos obligaron a hacer un check-out un día antes, a pleno 01.01 después de haber pagado un precio más alto de lo normal... nos dijeron que teníamos que hacrr el check-out porque nos cambiaban de habitación. Y que no podríamos hacer el check-in hasta las 15h. Quiero el dinero de las horas que no pude disfrutar de la cama, cuando estaba pagada, me fastidiaron el día...ya que no pude descansar lo que quería...
Además, nos dijeron que como no salieramos de la cama a las 10 nos cobrarían una penalización... que necesitaban la habitación para otro grupo.
Sin duda muy mal trato... aún nos dijeron... que teníamos suerte de dejar la mochila gratis en consigna. ¿Suerte? Yo pagué por una cama hasta el día 02.02.24 a las 10a.m. Y me reubicaron a su antojo, me sacaron de la cama cuando quisieron...
Lo único de bueno que tiene el hostel es la ubicación, por lo demás...

Je vous déconseille d'y vous rendre , les locataires sont sales, ils respectent rien ( parle fort pendant que vous dormez regarde des séries avec le son ronfle et j'en passe ) . Il est impossible de changer de chambre bref en résumé vos mieux payer plus cher et passer un bon séjour, plus que gâcher son séjour avec un auberge de jeunesse comme ça ( à savoir qu'il n'y a pas que des jeunes )

交通方便，附近餐廳很多但住在老房子裡，空間相當狹小，走在木板上都會有嘎嘎想，比較適合年青的孩子住！

I stayed in Astor museum hostel near British musuem. I didn't know that if you choose basic bed then you will in another building 5 minutes away from given location.

Room was basic and bunk bed had no charging points, no back support. It's very cheap.

The problem was that there was no atmosphere, I just went to my room. There wasn't any common space or lobby to meet people in building. Even the basic thing like water glass or drinking water was missing. Only good thing was location was next to British musuem.

There are only 2 toilets and showers and in morning, I had to wait a lot.

Lots of stairs but nice hostel. Good location and fair price. Toilet and shower in different floors is kind of strange.

Great location.
rooms are quite depressing, and we actually booked a hotel 200mt away from it for 10 pounds more each, so price is not the best either.
Service was great until we actually had a complain, unfortunately we decided not to stay as the people in the room behaved very strangely and the room smelled very bad.
when we communicated this the receptionist was super judgmental and responded quite aggressively to the claim, he said this is a hostel, what do you expect. For me this is a terrible argument as ive been to hostels around the world and hostel doesn't need to mean a cheap place that is unsafe, dirty or horrible.
Luckily the manager assisted, and we could come to terms. we paid one night only but we didn't stay any (better to lose some money then having to deal with other issues later)
I would highly recommend if you are a woman to check other options as for example in our case, we were supposed to go in a little room with two guys that were a little strange in a building outside of the main entrance so no reps from the hotel were around. Is really not the best set-up.

Great location, okay hostel for London... BUT got valuables stolen from my locker stealthily. Everything was put back together and not showing any signs of breaking in. Staff would have known there's value as I asked if the luggage area is safe, and wasn't told about the lockers in front of cctv. So there's a feeling someone from there was involved... Also the fact one needs time to find ways to unlock/lock. No proof yet, but there might be soon. Anyhow, don't trust lockers from low life.

Amazing place for solo travelers, clean toilets, friendly staffs, very inclusive environment, prime location. Would suggest if you want affordable stay and with city vibe???? and definitely the staffs require a pay rise just for their smile while greeting.

Petite auberge qui a l'avantage principal de n'être pas trop chère pour Londres et d'être surtout extrêmement bien située, littéralement à moins d'une minute à pied du British Museum puisque l'auberge donne directement sur les grilles du musée. Idéal donc pour partir à l'assaut des énormes collections du British Museum dès le matin. Pour le reste l'auberge est classique et sans grand charme. Une petite salle commune avec quelques canapés et une télévision. Les dortoirs sont grands et l'on peut mettre sa valise dans un coffre fermé par un cadenas sous son lit, ce n'est pas très pratique mais c'est sûr.
