Amazing place right on the canal

Ein wunderschönes Hotel in zentraler, trotzdem ruhiger Lage. Das Interieur besticht durch Liebe zum Detail. Das Frühstück war sehr gut in einem angenehmen Ambiente. Der Service war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Immer wieder gerne!

En helt sagolik upplevelse att bo här. Man önskar att "väggar kunde tala" i denna historiska miljö som är bevarad och renoverad på ett mycket smakfullt sätt. Allt från de mörka takbjälkar, möblerna ner till val av porslin i den vackra matsalen. Vi bodde i ett större rum med utsikt mot kanalen och kunde inte haft det bättre. Personalen är vänlig och hjälpsam. Frukosten var i toppklass. Hotellet ligger nära till de mysiga kvarteren och olika restauranger och butiker.

It's extraordinary how a vacation, often unexpected, can turn into an indelible memory. And so it was for me when I crossed the threshold of Hotel Ter Brughe. To simply call it a hotel would be an understatement, for it is so much more: an enchantment transformed into a structure, one of those corners that gently weave their way into the hearts of those who, like me, seek authenticity.

I usually steer clear of staying in cold, impersonal hotel chains. But here, every doubt dissipated. From the very first moment, I knew I had made the right choice. A delicate fragrance enveloped me, the wooden floor welcomed my steps, and the reception surprised me with a bouquet of wildflowers, a welcoming gesture that brought a smile to my heart.

The arrangement of the space seems like an artistic canvas, a balanced mix of styles that evoke the grace of France and the elegance of England. Tartan armchairs, tables adorned with small bouquets and candles, books arranged with care, all in a warm and inviting atmosphere. And then there's the inner garden, a gem shielded by the hotel's walls, an oasis of charm.

As I ascended the wooden stairs, I heard that sweet creaking of times gone by, a sound that blends perfectly with the ambiance of the place. And even though the stairs were not the most convenient for luggage, I forgave any inconvenience immediately because in this hotel, every detail contributes to creating an extraordinary experience.

And then, the room. A true cocoon that holds a pearl within. Exposed beams, wallpaper, the classic lightweight, quilted Provencal boutis, everything harmoniously combined to create a refined and welcoming environment. The pillows, personalized with elegant embroidery, were a comforting embrace. There was even a dedicated corner to prepare a delicious hot chocolate, a detail that made my stay even more special.

The true gem, of course, remains the view. Peering out of the oblique window, I could admire the rooftops of Bruges and the horizon. The morning sun caressed me, kissing my day with a touch of warmth. This hotel is a true delight, a hidden gem that made these days even more unforgettable.

In conclusion, Hotel Ter Brughe is much more than just accommodation: it's a dream come true, a charming experience that gifted me with comfort and beauty in every detail. It was an enchantment that transformed an ordinary vacation into a memory that feels tailor-made for me.

Ein super Hotel aus dem 17. Jahrhundert in der Innenstadt. Es hat alles gepasst. Wunderbar

Nous aimons voyager le plus souvent possible et nous séjournons donc souvent dans des pensions et des hôtels, même s'ils sont rarement des 4 étoiles. En tout cas, c'est l'un des plus beaux hôtels où nous ayons séjourné. Une chambre propre et confortable, un bon lit, une belle vue. De plus, ils ont tenu compte de ma sensibilité au bruit, communiquée à l'avance, avec une grande gentillesse.

The room was great, and the location was good for getting around the city. The staff were helpful and friendly. Didn't have the buffet breakfast as it was extra £.

This was a fabulous stay. The building is a marvelous historical piece and the room was charming.

Hotel staff was super nice and they give you some incredible guides.

Hotel très cossu et très romantique. Il est situé non loin du centre. Le petit déjeuner est servi au sous sol dans une salle pittoresque située au niveau de l eau.

un endroit magique ! mais j'avoue que nous avons pris une des plus belles chambres, très spacieuse sous les magnifiques poutres de la toiture et vue sur le canal. Le personnel est très gentil, le patron adorable (ce qui n'est pas le cas partout en Belgique) et le petit déjeuner est servi dans une salle très moyenâgeuse sous le niveau de l'eau permet de contempler les canards et les cygnes qui passent devant les fenêtres. Mémorable !
