Ein familienfreundlicher Ort mit einem Spa, mehreren Swimmingpools, Wassersportmöglichkeiten und Unterhaltungsangeboten.

Auf einem riesigen Gelände von 120 ha, auf dem man sich mit einem Golfwagen fortbewegt, ist das Ephelia das größte Hotel des Landes mit 313 Zimmern und Villen (gut verstreut) und 5 Restaurants. Es hat sich vor allem an einem Traumspot niedergelassen, wo man Zugang zu zwei Stränden hat, Lans Trusalo und Port Launay, die sich jeweils auf einer Seite der Bucht befinden. Die Zimmer mit edlen Materialien haben ebenfalls viel Flair. Mehrere schöne Swimmingpools, Wassersport und Animationen werden die Jüngsten begeistern, während die Eltern sich im Spa entspannen können. Originell sind auch die 7 Ziplines, die im umliegenden Dschungel aufgestellt wurden!

This is my second time in the hotel Constance Ephilia. I’m really enjoy this place and planning to come here 3rd time in 2024. Everything in the hotel is perfect, starting with very tasty welcome drinks and staff who make you feel comfortable at first glance, ending with the fact that employees read your thoughts without words.
(!)I especially want to mention the employees Sanat and Okeke, in 2022 they were not indifferent to our problem and in 2023 there were no thoughts about choosing another hotel precisely because of them.
Sanat is very attentive, always in touch, can help in all the necessary moments.
Okeke is very cheerful and personable, gave all the necessary information and recommendations for booking a trip in 2024.
Also the waitress Caroline is very helpful.
Also this year the hotel was beautifully decorated for the New Year.
looking forward to the trip in 2024.

Wir haben im November 2023 Urlaub als Familie (2 Erwachsene + 2 Kinder) hier verbracht.

Das Hotel ist toll und man kann hier einen absolut schönen Urlaub verbringen.

Top (5-Sterne-Niveau) sind v.a. Hotelanlage, Umgebung, Strand, Sauberkeit, die Vielfalt beim Essen, das breite Angebot an Einrichtungen, Ökologie und der besonders Kids Club.

Warum vergeben wir dann nur 3 Sterne?

Zum einen, weil der Service von sehr gut bis inakzeptabel reicht und im Schnitt nur ausreichend bis befriedigend ist (v.a. in den Restaurants, bei allgemeinen Anfragen und in Bezug auf das grundsätzliche Service-Angebot).

Zum anderen, weil es hier ein teures 5-Sterne-Resort zu bewerten gibt, einige zentrale Aspekte aber nur im Preis, nicht aber in Angebot und Qualität das erwartbare Niveau haben, sondern eher in der Klasse eines 3-Sterne-Hauses liegen.

Unterm Strich passt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis so nicht. Gegenüber z.B. dem Raffles auf Praslin wirkt das Constance um 2 - 2,5 Klassen schlechter - bei vergleichbaren Preisniveau.

Fazit:
Schönes Hotel für einen zweifellos sehr guten Urlaub. Für das Geld gibt es aber (noch) Besseres.

This is a good resort but a few details bothered me which in my opinion fall short of its 5 star rating.

The good - service is attentive, rooms are clean, facilities are extensive, there is a buggy to go to everywhere on the resort, many water sports/activities are included, tennis and racket sports are also included restaurants and food is overall good, we had no issues with restaurant bookings (even less than 24 hours). Overall, it's a really idyllic location with few guests so you can enjoy some privacy too.

The bad - as we were packing on the day of our checkout they wanted to change the t.v in our room (I mean seriously you couldn't wait). This really left a sour taste because there are a few other things that also lacked organisation or consistency. Sometimes we were given a different message by different staff, we also couldn't always get through to someone on the hotel phone to find out more about activities because they were involved in an activity already and therefore busy.
Regarding the t.v being swapped, it was clear someone was told they could do this on the day of our checkout but didn't check with other staff. This led to a somewhat stressful experience as we needed to checkout on time. Secondly, the wi-fi is temperamental in rooms. Thirdly, some of the more basic things are additional charges, even when you have full-board if you have more than one bottle of water or sparkling water then this is an extra charge. I really think soft drinks, coffee should be included given the rates of this hotel. Lastly, if you want to experience the rest of the island you are probably better off staying near Victoria for more options. We didn't feel that comfortable with driving this time around because Mahe has a lot of hills, twists and turns on mountains, ditches and so forth. It can make you very dizzy if you have any kind of motion sickness. The hotel would benefit from a complimentary group transfer in mornings and evenings to Victoria if this was affordable/viable to support arrivals and departures and day trips without the worry and hassle of hiring a car.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the breath-taking Constance Ephelia resort in Seychelles, and the experience left me with memories that will last a lifetime.

Upon our early morning arrival, the check-in process did take a bit of time, but the anticipation was well worth it. We were greeted with a warm welcome and a glass of champagne, setting the tone for our luxurious stay. The refreshing arrival drink infused with lemongrass was a delightful touch, providing a taste of the exotic paradise that awaited us.

Despite the slight delay in obtaining our room (Senior Suit), the resort's cleanliness and attention to detail were commendable. Any issues, such as a blocked shower, were promptly addressed by the efficient maintenance team, ensuring a seamless and comfortable stay. The use of WhatsApp for the reception desk proved to be an effective and convenient way to get quick responses to our queries.

The staff at Constance Ephelia truly exceeded expectations. Their warmth and friendliness were evident from the moment we stepped into the resort. It was clear that the team enjoyed their work and were treated well. Special mention goes to Rendolph, our favourite buggy driver, whose infectious happiness and genuine interest in our daily activities added a personal touch to our stay. Prabu, the manager of Adam & Eve, went above and beyond by making an effort to learn our names, creating a truly personalised experience.

One unique feature that stood out was the pillow menu, allowing guests to choose from a variety of options for a personalised touch to their sleeping experience. The resort's commitment to guest satisfaction was evident in every aspect of our stay.

The pristine North Beach, reminiscent of a postcard-perfect scene, was a highlight of our visit. The buggy rides, though covering a significant distance from north to south, were enjoyable, thanks to the cheerful and helpful staff.

For those seeking adventure, the complimentary water sports & hikes were a fantastic addition, enhancing our overall experience. The variety of activities provided an excellent opportunity to explore the stunning surroundings of Seychelles and some private beaches.

While the food offered a plethora of choices and was expertly presented, the only drawback was the slightly expensive drinks. However, the overall dining experience was enjoyable, offering a diverse range of culinary delights.

In conclusion, Constance Ephelia surpassed my expectations and stands out as one of the best hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. From the picturesque North Beach to the attentive and friendly staff, every aspect of the resort contributed to a truly unforgettable tropical paradise getaway. I left with a heavy heart, already yearning for the day I can return to this Seychellois haven.
