Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent stay at our hotel. We appreciate your positive remarks about our great location and friendly staff, particularly highlighting the fluency in Spanish of one team member.
We regret to hear that certain aspects of your experience did not meet your expectations, and we would like to address your concerns regarding accessibility, room size, and pool safety.
Firstly, our hotel, being a historical building, poses challenges in terms of meeting the criteria for PRM (Persons with Reduced Mobility) accommodations. The historical nature of the structure makes it difficult to implement certain accessibility features without compromising the building's robustness which makes it not suitable for PRM accessibility. We understand the importance of accessibility, and while we strive to provide a welcoming environment for all guests, it is challenging to achieve full compliance if we want to preserve our historical setting.
Regarding the pool, we apologize if the photos did not accurately represent the space. We take pride in our pool's unique setting, surrounded by vaulted walls and exposed stones. We understand your concerns about limited space for taller individuals, however it is not a place to walk and run around, we simply offer cosy and intimist ponds. Safety is a top priority for us, and we will review the current setup to ensure a safer and more inclusive experience for all guests.
Concerning your room, we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced in room 408. We are however surprised to hear about the challenges posed by the provided cot as we never suggest baby cots in our smallest room category due to the limited space available. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused and will reassess our communication to ensure guests are aware of the limitations for this category.
We invite you however to try our other room categories where you’ll be able to find more space and equipment such as a mini bars.
Regarding the price, we understand your concern about the value for money. We continually evaluate our pricing structure to ensure it aligns with the market and what we offer. It is important to note that our room rates reflect several factors, including our privileged location in the heart of Lyon city centre. Proximity to sights, shopping and cultural activities inevitably contributes to the value of our rooms and of course the increased demand for these strategic locations usually results in slightly higher rates. We understand that every traveller has individual preferences when it comes to accommodation, and we apologise if our offer has not fully met your expectations in terms of value for money.
Once again, thank you for sharing your thoughts. We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide an improved experience.
Warm regards,
The GHT Team
